What a WEEK!

So, Friday morning (6/17) I finally got Loque'nahak after a three day camp. Sunday morning around 8:30am I did a quick fly-by of the Gondria spawn points and found him (or her) and tamed him (...or her). Just today (around 2:30ish EST) I was doing a fly-by of Skoll's spawn points and lo and behold who does my npcscan find while flying over Brunnhildar Village? Time-lost Proto Drake. I couldn't believe my eyes. I had just gotten epic flying on my hunter the previous day and was looking through the flying mounts for one that I wanted, I thought about trying for TLPD but I figured my luck is not that good so I decided to just pick up the standard Swift Green Wind Rider and figure I can get something else later. But here I was looking for this awesome looking pet and I find this awesome looking mount instead. So I'm like freaking out because I never get this lucky with anything (I usually put in my time like most everyone else, camping for hours/days on end til eventually it pays off), but he's flying pretty high over Brunnhildar and I figured I couldn't just tag him mid-air because I would likely fall to my death and it would be a moment wasted. So I observe the direction he's flying which just so happened to be in the same direction of the location of one of Skoll's spawn points (no, Skoll wasn't there. How epic would that be?) I landed safely and tagged him. Of course he was an easy kill and shortly I was a proud owner of a Time-lost Proto Drake. After the initial excitement wore off I did a /who of Storm Peaks and talked to another guy that was camping him as well, I told him that I had just killed him so he wouldn't be wasting his time just sitting there. I answered some of his questions as to the altitude that TLPD was flying at and in what direction he was flying (as I mentioned earlier, he was flying fairly high but I think it's simply a matter of where he spawned).

I must say, TLPD is quite a lovely mount and I'd love to have it on my main. This being the case, I don't think I'd trade my Skoll for most anything (I absolutely love wolves and a blue lightning worg = <3 )
