i searched wowhead and found out its possible to get a new ghostwolf from a ghostpaw runner thru the pet abondon macro is this true?

This was true, although at the moment the Pet_Abandon macro seems to be dysfunctional. Also, the wolf would lose this 'buff' on it's death, or yours, so it'd be nothing more than a trophy pet unless you wished to retame one every time a death occurred.

i hav been after a ghostwolf since TBC witch after that i quit till 2009

on my worgen i would just keep it as a trophy pet

Even had someone tell me it was fake until we dueled and I let him kill my pet, rez'ed it and then proceeded to kick his ass with it!

Well, if you just want it for looks, why not spec BM, and tame the spirit beast Karoma, who IS a ghost wolf?

I'm not entirely sure if it is tamable atm, as the Pet_Abandon script isn't working for the tames. There is another way that is working after several tries, but I neither know how to do it, nor if it works for this pet. You will need to have someone else answer those questions. I'd suggest PMing someone like Kalliope about it. She seems to know a fair deal about it.

Yes, it's true. The Ghostpaw Runners in Ashenvale DO turn into Ghost Wolves, and I tamed one back when the pet_abandon() macro worked, however, if they die, they lose it. They're not grandfathered into the look, so it's worthless to take the time to tame one.

Karoma is very pretty, I adore mine greatly. (I like his spirit beasty look because it isn't as see through/polygony. *nods*) Good luck finding him! The challenge is part of the fun.

its not nitpicky, i was about to post the same thing.

Yeah if you have another idea or thought after you hit submit on your message, simply go back and edit the original one. its just a basic "forum etiquette". Its kind of a "unwritten rule" in this forum that looks down upon forum 'bumping' even though you probably weren't intending for that to happen. No worries

I'd say just go grab a Ghostsaber. They're more fancy anyways I believe
