Red runed demon dog

Hello Folks,

I just used my red runed demon dog after a while - did anyone also recognize, that the "feet" have been changed? Since now there has been such white dust around - now the feet are just red.... I tried to find the same petmodel again, but in the icecrownarea - where they look as the "old model" they are because of questing not tamable now.. Has someone an idea or some more information?

Yep, something definitely changed with the runed demon dogs; their feet are glowier across the board. The blue ones are more blue and the green ones are more yellow. I'm guessing that in Icecrown, they look the same as the others, but due to IC's lighting filters, it's harder to tell.

Well, thanks. I thought, I am getting old - and blind as a bat *smile*. The ones in the Icecrown which are sleeping still have the glow on their feet - the others in Zul Drak not - and it doesn't change even if I am in Stormwind/Winterspring/wherever.. I just hate that. I am taming the pets for their looks - same happened to me with Rak'shiri which after the patch was a simple white/blackstriped cat - luckily I could get him again because he's now for a quest - and now he has - with the new patch - the "old" look... Do you have any information about the changes? Will they last?

It seems like this may have been an intentional change, since each of the dogs now also breathes smoke that matches their color, but it might just be a side effect of the change, so it's hard to say.

It's not your eyes, though; they definitely changed.
