I've tired with them but they just I don't know just won't grow on me. I guess mainly I never used one until after the patch that gave all pets thunderstomp. With so many other pets that did just as well I could see the sense in using one.

I kinda like them, no complaints here.

My main complaint is that their idle animations go on constantly, they never just stand there. It's always beating their chests or scratching their butts. If those were dialed back a bit, I'd use them more.

but I did snag Uk'loc, so I'm happy. Snow-white gorilla FTW

I love my orange gorilla U'Cha.

He's my all-in-one travelling companion these days, since I found out that before level 70, tenacity pets do more damage than ferocity (because of Thunderstomp). So I use him for soloing, instances, and PvP, all three. I love the way he smartcasts his spell interrupt.

And he's so burly and warm-looking, which is particularly nice in snowy zones.

I've found that Gorillas make excellent companions for Goblin hunters. There's just something about sending in the hired muscle while the little green guy hangs back and shoots. It seems very appropriate.

That concept is awesome! If it were to be made into a pet in the game I would totally use a gorilla over a moth!

Something about Baeloc makes him so endearing, despite the butt-scratching. He's just so animated when it comes to combat, hooting excitedly as he goes charging in and then swinging those long powerful limbs at his target upon arrival. The manner in which he fights is so.. rude - especially when he pummels a spellcaster until they can't keep up their incantations. All I need is for someone to teach him how to wield a weapon, probably a mace.
