What do you think of /mountspecial for pets?

Now, I'm not talking about mounting them, but like when you /mountspecial to get your mount to do something cool. I think it would be awesome to be able to have our pets have one of their idle abilities tied to an emote type thing like mounts do.

I came up with this wish after taming Variscix, my lime green dino Just after taming him a druid was flying over and buffed me, I said thanks, and dino roared pretty much immediately after, so I said he said thanks too Later I randomly bumped into a new guildie in stormwind, and said "hey"... And then I waited for more perfect timing.. would have loved Vari to roar right then as a "hi" as well!

Use his special ability, it makes him roar, but is on like a 45 second CD >_>

It'd be cool for pets to have a /mountspecial, like, druids can do /mountspecial.. i do flips when im in bird, saber roar in travel and cat (no sound), and when i shapeshift into bear i can do the bear mount roar (no sound) but bear form seems to only do it when you shapeshift and not any later, its laaame

As a regular idle position like how cats yawn and wolves howl, it'd be really cool for the pets who use the same model/skeleton as current existing mounts

I didn't think of that, heh. Would work well for when I'm just hanging around SW, or something!
Still.. I think it would be a neat little flavour thing they could do... and it would hopefully not take up as much dev time as some of the other flavour things people have been wanting. /petspecial instead of mountspecial, heh. I mean.. as Jatbirkkal kindly pointed out, they already have mechanics to trigger certain animations with a button press <.<

And yeah, if druids can do it, why can't my dino!

Yes, as the animations are already attached to a button, making a command shouldn't be difficult. Shale spiders and Silithids also have an animation that triggers on a button press, that being when you remove their buff and then re-cast it. I use it often when my silithid feels like throwing a tantrum, or freaking people out.
