Recruit a Friend to LVL 80

Caught this on twitter. It also talks about free wow keys sent to subscribers. 1-80 from 1-60.. that's pretty sweet. This allows you to blaze through outland and northend. I wonder if guild perks stack ?
Recruit-A-Friend now awards bonus experience and free level grants to level 80, up from level 60.

...My bf's gonna be pissed when he finds out about this. We just started a refer-a-friend with each other since he hates leveling. =/

hmmm might very well take advantage of that. One account on the comp, the other on the laptop. Might be a better way to get all those alts leveled up.

I has a happee about this. I was considering doing RaF with myself when they sell WoW for five bucks during Christmas; I'm definitely doing it now.
The one thing I'm not so happy about is the amount of naked 85s that are going to be leeching exp/honor in leveling battlegrounds after this change. =/ There was already enough naked or nearly naked people (or the 84s in Brutal.... ffffuuuuu) in bgs to make it unenjoyable. At least the bracket doesn't last long...?

It's so stupid that my country, Switzerland, and other European countries aswell can't do that for unknown reasons. The service is only available in the "bigger" nations...

Meh, I can't seem to get the RAF to work.. A friend raf'ed himself so he could level faster, and followed all the steps and so on, even upgraded and bought the wotlk expansion thingie. However, he did now figure out that they accounts weren't linked, so the raf didn't work. Wtf. He is pissed and ticketed blizz about it, and went to bed.
I did try to make a new email and raf myself just to see, and those are not linked, even if all steps were followed to the last. Anyone know why it isn't working, and what we might be doing wrong? And shouldn't the accounts be automatically added as rl when raf'ed? That's how I remember it anyway. Meh.
