My hunter is human and frankly quite insane. When I say insane, I don't mean sometimes he hears weird sounds and sees things out of the corner of his eye. No, he is completely and utterly mad, dangerously so in fact. That is why his party members enjoy having him around. He is a force to be reckoned with. The only time he seems somewhat sane, is when he is spending some quiet time with one of his pets. He gave them all really, really odd names. They're the only thing he cares about though. The reason they are all blue is because... I have no idea yet. Suggestions? I have not come up with more then that for him yet. Feel free to make suggestions on his background as well as the names of my pets!

I don't have all these pets yet, but I wilol update the thread as I get them!



Yeah, I know, the story is weak. But hey, I am new at this whole RP thing. But I figure I like my hunter more then any other character I have ever made, so why not.

If he's COMPLETELY mad, maybe his reason for "blue pets" can be insane, too.

"Blue reminds me of soup."

or

"My favorite pair of socks was blue... *sighs sadly.*"

or even

"BLUE IS THE OPPOSITE OF BLOOD. *grins crookedly.*"

A couple of those pets look a bit more green than blue, though--particularly Jadefang--but for the most part they're a nice-looking set You might want to be wary of mentioning in your RP itself why people do or don't want to hang out with your character, though; if you're RPing on a Roleplay realm, it's usually best to stick to the character himself and his personality, and let people react how they will (unless you mean fictional friends!).

As far as names go, I'd almost be tempted to call all of my pets the same name, probably something wacky, if my hunter was nuts. "They're all Box. Why wouldn't they be Box?" Otherwise, going with the blue theme might be cool.

azure, beryl, blue-gray, blue-green, cerulean, cobalt, indigo, navy, royal, sapphire, teal, turquoise, ultramarine

Or, you can name them all colors that are not blue, like Red, Violet and Rainbow. Umber, Scarlet, Copper, Sandy, Penny, Brownie, Sunshine etc are other non-blue, color-related names that come to mind.

How about blue is the color his hand turned when attempting to tame his first pet, as a child. It could be one of his few legit memories?

I really like the idea of naming them all the same thing! As far as he is concerned they are all the same pet. "hello there Box! You have more feathers then usual today..." I like it a lot.

I love that.

I think having a ton of blue pets all named Box (or whatever you pick in the end) would make anyone who sees your hunter remember him just for that already!
