So I am in my first ZG on the Hunter here on the cat boss lady and I get a tell from my guildie:

Guildie: Dude Sambas is up drop your group and I will summon you
ME: Ok, hold on we're killing the cat boss, this is my first time in here
Guildie: &^%$ that cat, she's a whore and you can do ZG anytime, this is SAMBAS!
Me: /p Sry guys gonna drop group and go grab Sambas
Group: NP man, I would too, we'll invite you after the tame

You have joined the group

Guildie has agrod but not attacked Sambas and is running around trying not to die. He drops a freeze trap and I get the tame.

Guildie: WOOT! Grats man, remember I will only do this once!
Me: Thanks a million man
Guildie:You bet

Drop group

Guildie2:Dude I got him! Invite me back

You have joined the group

Teleport to dungeon and fail on the boss

who cares if you fail. you got sambas! gratz

I remember being 84 very close to 85 lvling in the higlands when someone whispers me if I want sambas. Me so fricken excited that someone would do that jumps from the quest line makes a b-line and then like oh wait f'n heck I'm only 84. (head hits desk) I say thanks but I can't yet and another hunter gets him. I'm figuring I'll never see him again next day I'm 85 finishing up the quests and boom npc scan goes off and I find his body, next day just out looking for Karmona and I find sambas and tame. I never thought I would get him as I normally have the luck of only seeing a rare once in a year.

This is me, full on. I have the worst luck with taming rares, glad to see you got him too!

Congrats!! I got him through our realm's petopians channel, someone mentioned he was up and I shouted the loudest was the only one of the three of us in the channel that wanted to tame him, so I got a party invite and off I went. Lord, it's a long way to hearth->portals->fly over when you're heading out to get a rare, isn't it?

What're you going to name him?

I named him Sambas, the king should keep his name!
