So, what's your favorite non-exotic pet you've tamed or just really enjoy for whatever reason...

I like the diseased wolves; always into gruesome stuff, the lime green tiger from winter spring; was always neat looking, & the black/orange ravager; makes me think of Hallows Eve.

I'd LOVE if they kept Drakuru Raptor with the blue/purple skin instead of the stupid color changing upon resummon.

Hmm, well considering that my entire stable is occupied by Exotic pets, this is rather interesting to think about. x)

I've always had a soft spot for Boars. I love piggies in general, and there's just something so adorable about the in-game ones. I spent the majority of my levelling experience with a black armored boar at my side, and I still miss him to this day. When (if?) they increase stable slots next expansion I'm going to try to get him back. :3

Crocolisks are another, as crocodiles are my absolute favourite real life animal. I think Blizzard needs to show them love and give them more colours, they're in sore need of them.

Raptors, Spiders, and Turtles get honorable mentions as well.

I'll always have a soft spot for my Sturgrid screecher. He was my only pet from level 10-80. Aside from that, I love the pridewatchers in Winterspring. That transluscent bleish purple is beautiful. Someday I will have stable space to have one. I also like the lvl 5 wolves from Mulgore. The coloring and poofy fur looks just like my RL dog Lucy. Honeslty tho, there are dozens of pets I want. Hopefully Blizz will give us enough space for me to clooect them. I want to start a Zoo.

There are several that are kind of tied:

- The outland carrion bird model, just the standard reddish-brown one. I think it's so awesome-looking and the fact that it has two heads makes it even better! I had to let Rhytil go to get another pet but if/when we get more slots, I'm gonna go get another just because I loved him.

- Boars, pretty much every model, though I think my favorite is the one with the stripes and yellow mane. Again, more stable slots in the future = another boar to tame.

- Wind serpents, the old-world models in the white, black and (solid) red skins.

Other noteables are the aqua tallstrider that I've always wanted to tame (but could never justify letting another pet go to tame it), the red old-world raptor (I love its shade of red), and the white tiger (not Bangalash's model, but the riding tiger model that is not tameable currently).

Non exotic. Humar. Named him Tassadar. Damn I miss that cat.

hmm raptors, anyone of the wolves, and wind serphants would have to be my favs. Oh and warpstalkers! ^_^

You probably can guess what my favorite non-BM pet is, since you commented on her: Grimtotem Spirit Guide/Wolf!

But nice seeing you on these forums, too.
Had no idea so many from Ysera lurked here.

I wasn't even "born" when folks were taming the Grim Totem Spirit Wolf... it'd be nice if they'd bring it back just once so others could get it; like for a weekend before Catacylsm... hehe & 'wave'

I'd have to go with Echeyakee and Naraxis

i liked when blizzard added that crow pet back in tbc . Now i want to get aetona to match my pirate costume and later as a goblin bloodsail bucaneer

Rak'shiri is my favorite. That and the panther skin. I also like the armored wolf skin, and sunset owl is pretty.

Well, my answer for this was going to be Wind Serpents, right away. Old world ones especially. The normal deviate scale and dark blue skins the most.

Then, I saw that Saturo had listed the Ghost Wolf, and that got me thinking of my lovely Worgen.

So, it's a tie. Wind Serpents, and Worgen.

Been awhile, but.... i think Pitch was my Fav before exotics.

Non-exotic? Two favourites (minus the Ghost Wolf because I was one of the unlucky few who missed out on taming it)

Of past pets Art has tamed, Old Cliffjumper, Echeyakee and Rak'shiri are remembered most fondly, but my all-time darling was the Rake my first hunter tamed back in Vanilla. (Leonidas still lives with the much-neglected Dwarf hunter Leonie on my original server.)

Of non-exotics I've always wanted to tame but have never gotten around to, there's the pink hyena from Thousand Needles, and the diseased white bear from Dragonblight.

Since all my pets are not exotic, this would be a toughie as to which one of them is my favorite, as I believe they are all my favorite because of their unique personalities.

Warp stalkers, hands down.
