2pm server near when the servers got back up today. he is a tricky one to tame and the tree CAN be a pain gettong on to but just fly around over it and hold down X till you stop going downwards but look as if you are ontop of the tree (in other words. your mount wont "land" but if you dismount you stand on the tree) then just sit and wait for banny. dismiss pet. fly up, pull him, drop down onto the tree. set down your ice trap deterrence (dunno if ALL this is needed but i can never be too careful) tame and...New Birdy!

ugh! it is now 2pm server for me, cst, and I am still waiting. Grats on your tame! I hope he shows up soon like your's did! currently hovering over the tree waiting to grab him hehe

Gratz.... and same thing as above I'm not moving from my tree until he spawns... COME ON NPC SCAN!

Also, do you know if he spawned close to the tree or far from it?

i didn't actually see him spawn as i had WoW minimized checking patch notes more carefully etc. popped back and there he was. circling away

I'm in the tree myself, Eagle Eying the regrowth every now and then. Had npcScan go off, but it was for Terrorpene. Now it's got me all shaky.

What are the coords for this tree (or a map screenshot) if I may ask?

So you you have screenshots? I'd love to see.

I havn't taken any sry (print screen button is broken. of all things >.>) Just got reports of hunters seeing him around 3:30 server aswell. seems his random spawn times are around hours or half hours.

My server first's Ban got killed cause one hunter got jealous and didn't want to lose it. Killed it after a tame war.

More waiting for me, I guess.

I never understood that mentality, you are only dooming yourself to having to fight that particular hunter again on a spawn, why not just say grats and be done?

I parked myself on the tree as well I was going to go for the cats first but then I thought no I think I will get Banny first..because man getting up on the tree is a pain..and if I see her flying around no way I can get up there under pressure..so I'm camped there til I see that owl spawn and shes mine!..lol
