Filter on Wowhead says 125... although it might have missed a few I think it's pretty close.

I did pet search on Petopia, rares only and tameable only and it gave 129 results. However, I noticed Karoma was listed twice for some reason, and Madexx is listed 5 times, of course.

so 6 hunters is the sweet spot... for my rare hunter.... craving lol

Although if you confine yourself to unique rares, I count just 37, which would be doable by just two hunters. A much less daunting task!
