Do skarr and the gem crab share a spawn?

Due to a bug with dailies resetting, I was able to get into molten front. Naturally, I started taming rares that didn't require an ungodly amount of time and/or luck with evade bugs...

I tamed the gem crab, but I can't find skarr. Since they appear in the same place (right?), do they share a spawn point? If so, did anyone on the PTR ever discover their respawn time?

Yep, they share a timer and locations. Respawn is between 4-8h. (I haven't seen the 2h minimum timer I've seen posted, but bear that in mind as well.)

Took him five-ish hours to spawn after Karkin... Skarr that is. And he either spawns in the back of the floating rocks, or the front.
