So now i been campinmg bathalos for 4 hours still no sight of him

Got Banny after about a three hour camp, numerous deaths while trying to tame and jerks on my realm trying to kill my tame. Was very lucky.

Have been camping the spirit beasts since 10.30. 4 hours. No sign of either, and I fear the cats might get killed really fast..

Saw ban spawn after about 3 hours of camping him as well as the kitties. Managed to get him to the ground, used tame beast. 2 seconds left!!!...Another hunter kills me...shoot! Run back fast as I can, the hunter has a mage from his guild trying to get ban back to the ground, he kills him then the other hunter. I work at getting him back to the ground and BAM he is in my trap WOOT! /tame beast...then *POOF* sheeped. uh oh. Other hunter runs up and tames him while i'm cc'd =( so happy I could do the work for you. heh

Was able to get one of the kitties after another 6 ish hours of camping though so it was not a total failure of a day.

I just found Magria! On the right hunter too! I was afraid I would find Anhka instead, and then would have to log my other hunter. Happies!

Right now.. its pretty quiet Nothing stirs in the regrowth or in the air either.

Camped Ban'thalos from just before 2pm cst yesterday to 12:30am this morning, not a single sign of him on Malygos, nor have I seen the kitties around. Started my camping again this morning at 6am, so far 9:50 and nada. Will see how I do after I get back from the dr appointment my munchkin has.


/note to ban'thalos, please spawn, tis my daughter's 3rd birthday and she loves owls just as much as I do!

I...I...I... Banny just spawned, waaah!

There were another hunter there, and we had each our tries on the bird, at least that is how I like to look at it anyway. I died two times, he died three, and I finally got the bird to come down to the trap and get trapped. I got it

2/3 pets so far today. If I am lucky, Anhka spawns later tonight, if she would like to spawn 6 hours after Magria.

havent seen anny of the new rares yet. Nor am i truly camping. i have my gondria and skoll, all i really need. Though i will still try and tame em if i do see em. Dont think they will be keepers though.

I finaly managed to get my last rare on the Frostbitten Achieve today though after like 6 months of random look outs for putridus.
Yet again i found Skoll and tamed him on another hunter.

I just got old Banny, a few minutes ago. There were at least 6 other hunters trying to get him, and all failing. I somehow managed to park myself on the tree first try, layed a trap down, flew up a bit, hit him, and got him

Well, while camping Banny a guildie saw Ankha spawn and asked in guild if anyone wanted her. I quickly shed all my armor and dived over, to promptly get killed by an add while trying to tame. During this the phone decided to start ringing, my mom calling to wish my little one a happy birthday, so I'm trying to tune that out, and focus, and fly back. Pick up the phone, no answer, mom hung up, get my body, bandage, guildie is killing adds, and I get Ankha!

Then I had to explain to mom why I didn't answer the phone right away... She told me good luck and that I better get that owl for her little girl


12:30 cst, Malygos, if any Maly hunters are looking for timers.


Edit: 3:30pm cst, playing solitaire on my phone when npcscan goes off. Look up and see Ban'thalos, absolutely shaking, hoping I didn't wiggle a bit off the tree, since I have been flying above it. I meant to take a ss to show folks how high he spawned, since that was something I was wondering, but somehow in the rush I ALWAYS forget to take taming screenshots. I'm always so nervous something will happen! The wait for him to fly to the tree was soooo hard, he spawns on the north side of malorne and just hangs out there a few moments before flying closer. He didn't even moonfire me, just came straight to my waiting trap and arms.

My daughter is bouncing, happy with her new friend. I have a feeling when she can play she will have a stable of birds, since she always wants me to use Olm and Aotona, and now probably Ban'thalos.
