Potential Bug: LEEEEEEROYYYY...kitty? What? Pet issue?

I ran a few ZA/ZGs yesterday for VPs, achieves and slim chance at mounts. I noticed something very peculiar. My cat decided to rebel against aggressive stance being removed by acting aggressive anyway. On no fewer than four occasions in two seprate dungeons she ran right on into a group that had not been aggroed, touched, cced, targeted, nothing.
Anyone else with this issue? If so, am -I- doing anything to cause it? Or is Dawg my beloved cat just being a rebel?

I only have this problem with my spirit beasts, strangely... Switched to Kirix and everything stopped.

I am having troubles with defensive stance acting as passive.. The pet doesn't attack when neither me or the pet are attacked, nor does it run to attack when I shoot at something. Gief back normal defensive/aggressive stance

Not attacking when you attack is actually intended, and it's the way Defensive stance worked in BC. I can't think of a single situation where it would be more useful than the usual Defensive, so I'd certainly like it changed back.
I must admit I find the idea of pets rebelling against a nerf hilarious, although I'll have to keep a close eye on my Loque

I think this happened with my Sambas. I was near a flagged UD warlock who had a felguard. x_x Then my lion was like MUST GET HIS LEG! *snarfs on UD warlock* *realizes we're flagged* OH GOD.

I had lots of trouble with cats pre-80. They were constanlty over enthusiastic about what they attacked (in defensive stance) and did thing like chase the single target I was after into the mob that was not that close or (if I was in a group) away from the tank. They appear to have mellowed sometime in the last few patches. Or maybe they mellowed and higher levels, I dunno. I wouldn't use a cat for a long time because of the "you really wanted all 10 of those, right" factor.

I just spent an hour ingame with my beloved sporebat, never touched his bar. He both assisted me and defended me, just like old defensive. Maybe he didn't get the memo? My Loque was doing what the tooltip said.
For the record, if they wanted aggressive out, they should've just removed it. If the rogue detection/accidentally going into aggro was the reason for the change, they could've left defensive as it was and removed aggressive completely. As it stands now, I have nowhere to put assist on my pet bars, all my pets only have 2 stances showing, one is passive.

Mine's busted too. Half the time on defensive they'll act like before (attacking whatever my first target is) and half the time they just stand there. If that happens,
even if I switch to assist the pet won't budge and just hangs out until I use CTRL+1. On trash it's not a huge deal. When we're trying new bosses like spider boss, yeah, it's a problem.

Tried changing pets to Deathmaw <3 and ran a Heroic Throne of Tides. Did the same thing. He decided to go after the little pack of murlocs that were running around in the first room. I caught him and got him on passive immediately so he didn't aggro them.
So that was fine. I just macroed in him him to attack when I use serpent sting. No huge biggie right? Wrong. Heroic Halls of Origination, first boss. Pet is on passive and we are standing around before the tank heads in. Deathmaw's reaction to the wait? "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" And in he runs. I was not ammused.
So yes, please do want a fix. -_-

Maybe now their buff hits enemies..? XD
Wouldn't that be funny, though. A cat using it's special, only to wipe out any lowby npcs near it. "Whoops, was my breath THAT bad? O_O"
