How are you guys able to get into firelands already? I still have 4 more of those marks to go before I can. I did the chain yeasterday, and the dailies yesterday and today. I am so lost

I did the dailys, and like 10 min later the dailys opened again it was lovely to see every single rare up.

The dailies glitched and people took advantage of it on my server. ._.; Kinda miffed about that.

It does. Doesn't really same fair but it's a bumble on Blizzard's part.

You'll have less competition during the rush. Otherwise, the MF rares would just be sitting around untouched (like they have been), which is basically a waste for everyone. It's win-win, really.

Yep, for every hunter who gets a tame done ahead of the pack, that's one fewer person who will be competing with you for the same tames later. Depending on your server, that could be a very big deal.

Eh, I'm on the line about this one. It's nice to have less competition, but when the Cata patch came out and people got into Hyjal/etc when they weren't supposed to, bans and suspensions were handed out.

It's not quite as drastic of a "cheat", but still cheap enough.

Well considering theres only a few hunters who got in on my server, the only difference is maybe there will be... one or two hunters less somewhat looking still wont do much difference with the 6 hunters I always see.

I only really see it as a win for the people who were up at that time to do it.

That's different. That was using exploits to enter.

This is a feature that's been around for a long time.

I'm just saying, all the getting into zones ahead of time during 3.0 was done with existing in-game mechanics, but was still considered exploiting.

They wouldn't be called "dailies" if you were intended to do them more than once a day. I see your side of the argument, but to the countless masses who work in the AM and can't stay up for a "double-reset", it could certainly be considered unfair.

For the record, I had off and could have easily done it had I known this issue still existed. But I would not have, especially since I can imagine all the constant "How u in there" whispers, lol. If I decide to go after Deth'tilac, the only Fireland rare I'm interested in, then I'll just get up early one morning, as that's usually when I have the best luck

It basically comes down to an advantage of a single day, as opposed to weeks' worth of hopping around in unreleased areas (that's another difference; the Molten Front IS released).

As I said before, this was a known issue long before Cataclysm; if Blizzard was going to fix it, they likely would have already done so.

It really is the same thing no matter how you justify it, I'm not trying to judge but rather to warn - be careful in your Molten Front endeavors until tomorrow, as Blizzard has been known to be fickle in what they think is exploiting and what is not.

Fair enough, nod. Just tossing out my two cents on why I don't think the policy will be changing (or if it does, it won't be with this patch).
