I had a goblin friend with me and after several deaths to the furnace (And after falling off a few times ¬.¬ ), first we ran into the merrily skittering Kirix. I promised my friend I'd let him try first. So, I made my way to the stepping stones instead. ...And saw someone very shiny and black just sitting on his lonely rock.
Ok, I got the jumps right, but what's this.. Tame cancelled, active pet already in use? No no, *feigns and runs away*. My other pet had apparently died in the furnace with me. Quick quick, ress and dismiss (I was hopelessly panicing at this point).. Back to the stones, get the jumps right and Silencing Shot his first cast... And here he is. Absolutely gorgeous cat.
But, I wasn't the one who really shone tonight, but my wee goblin friend!
After failing miserably at Kirix several times, and after letting me try once (and dying because I fell off the rock ¬.¬ ) he got the tame right and had a fantastic wee spider by his side while I was corpse running.
We ran into two more spiders, Skitterflame and Solix, and after a lot of fun with kiting, he had another set of wonderful spiders.
Afterwards we ran up to the spider "square" and I got myself a makeshift Kirix.
Congrats to whoever snatched Deth'tilac by the way, well played! :3 I'm personally not all that keen on the new spiders, but I did had an awful lot of fun helping the tames happen. <3
