I'm miffed about people getting the Molten Front pets already cause of the glitch and ever since I found out, I've been on edge and can't relax. I think it has to do with taming that spirit owl on the first day. Went sight to my head. I kept telling myself on patch day that I'll never get the pets on the first day cause I never did with each patch but when I got the owl, I was surprised!

I fee jealous and sad but happy at the same time though. Jealous cause some hunters got their pets early, sad cause I wasn't there and happy cause less hunters. Bleh I really don't know. I'm trying to camp for the two cats right now but yet keep telling myself I can get those last because they are just a tiger with a different color. But I have the 'OMGINEEDTHEMNOW' feeling.

I'll just sit here and watch a movie while my boyfriend teases me about how I treat wow like pokemon. >.<

Yeah, I'm a bit fidgety since I missed the reset (boo work requiring me to sleep) but it'll be okay! We'll get our pets.

Edit: And I will admit to being 7 kinds of squirmy camping the ghost kitties. That said, I'm pretty content with blue and wouldn't say no to Green but I also know a lot of my friends have none.

Yea... im looking at the 'oooh skarr' and 'oooh deth'tilac' threads and im like ;_; *want nao* i really want deth, if she (its a she to me) looks that damn amazing in screenshots, shes gonna be even more amazing in-game when i see her

I'm pretty much dying for Deth'tilac too. Seeing the large amount of hunters with rares on my server makes me a little nervous for the tame but hoping for the best

I was also pretty miffed. Being on such a high population server is pretty agitating when it comes to rare spawns. For the first time ever though, I think I'm going to go ahead and wait these guys out. Too much competition=unwanted stress and aggravation. Btw wow is totally pokemans!

I was pretty annoyed myself but I figured there was not much I could do about it so I let it go.

And WoW is -MY- Pokemon darnit!

I know how you feel. I'm /really/ angry about the people that have somehow gotten past that wall of fire that's blocking the way to Skarr's area. -_- When does it go away? I'd really like an answer for this so I can feel better.

Stay near the edge to the left, you wont get hit but don't fall to your death either. I took some fire damage as well but I lived. It never goes away.

Yeah, I'm on WoW EU and there's hunters already camping the Molten Front pets, coming back with Kirix etc and flaunting them. I'm a little irked that such a bug exists.

Then there's the fact that the US players get there first.

There's no pet I hugely want in particular, but I'm considering Deth, Kirix or Skarr, so I am antsy to go have a look at least >.<

Yah tell me about it.. I wasnt to happy either. My server its like every where a hunter hunter, its so highly populated cant move an inch without running into some hunter.. and theres the fact that the high population seems to be ignorant jerks who enjoy stealing tames etc.. so yah.. that extra day would have been nice...

I'm confused. I read that it goes away once the giant is defeated, but now people say it never goes away? So who's right? Skirting the edge just seems like an exploit to me. -_-

The fire does eventually phase out. Skirting it is not an exploit, though, or there wouldn't be a path through at all (it would be REALLY easy to block). Also, the fire on the east side was fashioned to allow a small path to cut around Kirix as needed.

Thanks, Kalli, I feel a lot better about that now. I'm still nervous about the edge, but I might give it a shot, but if I can't get over, I'll just wait. How long does it take for the fire to be phased out? Does it have to do with getting 150 marks to recruit either the druids or the wardens? I'm not that great at doing stunts like going along the edge. I'm clumsy.

Unfortunately, it does. I've never seen the fire phase out before because I didn't quest on the PTR, so all I can tell you is to be really careful around the edge. There are a couple of safe spots to stop and heal if you need. It's a tricky venture, but once you're past the initial fire, you're good to go. People aren't doing dailies in that part of the zone yet, so it's clearer than it might otherwise be.
