So I'm just curious how many of you out there tend to stick with a certain color theme for your different pets.
Are they all brown or black? Green or white? You get the idea. If all your pets are a certain color, what color does that happen to be?







Myself: I tend to like the black or blue pets mostly.
There are only two exceptions in my stable. My devilsaur Brutus (brown) and my green zangar firefly Sparks. =)

Hehe, on Veph I didn't really stick with that since she was (for a long time), my only hunter and therefore I got whichever pets I loved the most.

On many of my new hunter alts though I'm sticking with colour themes that match the character. ^_^ Or, if not colour, then some other thing. Like my Troll has predominantly reptiles and Trollish type of pets, where as my Orc has mostly black or green ones. For a while I had a blood elf that only tamed white coloured creatures, but I don't have her anymore.

For my Goblin hunter I'm planning on only taming bugs/insectoid type pets. :3

Most pets I have ever had have been dark or had some shade of blue:

There are only a few exceptions to this, most notably being two different green Ravagers.

I almost always set out to follow a color scheme (except on Mania, who's just been around too long). But then my planned pets are the wrong level or rare and nowhere to be found so I tame something else 'temporarily' and fall in love with that and ...

Yeah, so most of my pets end up not quite being as matched as I'd intended. Sometimes I fix this and sometimes I don't.

I have 5 hunters...lol (and only 1 is on a seperate server :-/ ) and usually I tend to tame what just feels right for the hunter. However I have noticed that my Night Elf Hunter has a tendency to lean towards white pets.

now that i think about it, mine tend to be in the blue, purple, green areas.

I like ghostly pets, if that counts. Grimtotem Spirit Guide, Ghostsaber, Gondria, Seetrough Jormungar, Cirsed Offspring of Har'Koa.

That kind of thing.

I used to go mainly for white pets, but now I find that I try to get green pets on Rhyela. I think my new hunter will probably go for black/blue/purple pets.

On Kahlua i tend to find names first, then find pets that fits them
Just found another booze named pet for Kahlua, desided on Tequilla then went to the petopia gallaray and desided on the pink flamingo..
Final booze name for Kahlua is Smirnoff which i think fit the spiritbear for some reason

On Tårnfalk i find the pet i want to have, then finds the name that fits them.. nothing to do with colour.. just taming the pets i love the most.. eg. the snowleopard, the golden worm and the green devilsaur (if i EVER is gonna find it)

Haha, I love your alcohol themed pets Tårnfalk. x) My boyfriend has a hunter on our old server named Flask, and he did the same thing - named all of his pets after drinks/booze of some sort.

On my Dorf she was originally going to tame all red pets. But I just felt blah about it, moreso when after 30+ levels, Scarlet, the belf cat I had, just finally got to me with how mute she was. No matter what she did, no matter what happened.

So I abandond all my pets nearly and started anew somewhat. And this time it's mineral/ore/gem named theme pets.

I never intended to have a theme going, but I somehow ended up with almost all white pets... white devilsaur, white lion, white core hound, Loque...

I do gravitate to specific colors for my hunters. I favor white/black, and blues.

My first hunter had whatever pets I wanted... But the other ones had a bit of a color theme.
Bluefur, my tauren, at first got pets with (shocker) blue coloration. Reached out to other colors at one point, but now he's back to blueish or white beasts.
Rassaa got all red pets. (Well, except the wolf.) Red lynx, red hyena, red dragonhawk for a while, red raptor for a while.

Hehe It was harder then i thought accually. PinchyColada gave it self,, but the rest was a real thinker... have 4 now

Tequilla, the pink tallstrider
Malibu, the white lion
Cointreau, the White headed eagle
The final one will come at lvl 74 when i can get Smirnoff, The spirit bear
What was your boyfriends pets called and what were they ?) (migth steam some for inspiration )

Hmm, he cycled through a few, but the ones I can remember are:

-a brown boar named Stout (as in the type of dark beer)
-a white bear named PolarIce (a Canadian vodka brand that has a polar bear as its logo)
-a red raptor named Caesar (hehe, named after the clamato drinks because they're my favourite alcoholic beverage and I gave him the suggestion)

And he was planning on getting Old Cliff Jumper to name JackDaniels or JD, also the yellow worm in the future to name Tequila, as worms are often in bottles of it.

Heeh, I have two criteria for my pets, currently: must be blue, and they must be a flier. It narrows down the field a bunch, but I've got all my stable slots filled. I was ALSO going to give them all "S" names, beginning with the letter "s", but I got lazy.

Hey neat! I'm also going for an all-bug pet theme for my next hunter, but she'll be a Forsaken hunter.

For a while my hunter had pets that were either white or on fire o.O completely by accident. (white devilsaur, kegan, jerk, MC corehound, and vargul blighthound) Anymore though, I don't think she quite has any themes.

My orc hunter, on the other hand, is convinced she needs the most difficult-to-tame pets for her, if you can call that a theme... at level 16 she's got an owl, a moth, a fjord crow, and a white bear from dun morogh... if only I could figure out something to take that last slot...

My Hunter has all warm-colored pets, excluding her Crocolisk.

Oddly enough, my old Hunter (back in BC) ended up with pets that were either black or some shade of blue.
