I'm on a rock, and I almost have him, but at the last second it says I don't have LoS, help please!

Make sure youre on the rock thats not level with the area he runs on. I had that problem yesterday with mine.

The one that breaks or the one that dosn't break? Or am I on the wrong group alltogether?

You are on the lonely rock high up in the air on the left side, right (That one doesn't break. It's also one of Karkin's/Skarr's spawn points)? Try to stand on the very edge of the pedestal, it worked for me.
Like Zmoni said, the pedestals on level with him, cause him to evade.

It the lone floating rock on the opposite side of the breaking rock your talking about from the mario jumping game

Not sure what's up with the LoS bit, but when I tamed him I was on the second to last rock closest to him, shot him to get aggro then waited for him to cast his special (name eludes me right now ><), popped any haste increasers I had (speed pot etc) and deterrance, then immediately tame beast.

Somone else got him, she lucked out due to some unknown glitch. He tame was interupted at THREE but she still got Kirix. I'm annoyed. I was there first, alone, then someone is like "Oh hey, kirix is up." And then I have twenty hunters bothering me. Frikkin' lovely.

You see that rock on the far right of the screen? That's the one you're after.

It's not even the fact hat someone else got him that pisses me off, it's the fact that they hadn't been there at ALL, and then popped up and repeatedly stole aggro off him, and afterwards everyone is like "Just a game brah" and "You can get him next time "

I was there first, plain and simple, then some NON hunter calls over General "Kirix is up", and everyone and their mother is there, messing up everyone elses tame, or trying to kill Kirix. -I- was probably the only one NOT stopping others tames, but they didn't decide to return me that curtesy. I hate people, honestly. Why can't anyone just play nice..? >_>

Yeah, that sucks.

Just read up before the next spawn and you should have him before anyone else spots him.
