Topic says it all. I tamed Karkin at 7:23 EST and have been out here waiting for Skarr to spawn since then.
It's been over 6 hours now.

I believe they can take 12hrs to respawn if not 24hrs.

Tamed at 3:12. Just under 8 hours since the previous spawn.
Can anyone edit the locked post and extend the info about the respawn time to make others aware?

Karkin spawned for me @ 19:45 on friday and was killed. Skarr was tamed by myself @ 07:15 sat morning so 11 hour respawn for me

I wonder whats the deal cause on the PTR, it was always 2 - 5 hrs.

People could be missing spawns.. Although, if I stand by the spawn place with the most rocks, I will still have npcscan go off at that other place, for some reason..

Yeah, thats what happened to me, I was at the rock one and Skarr spawned at the other spot and npc went off, which was nice since I was able to check it out and /gratz the hunter who tamed it. Now I have a timer for respawn! Which reminds me, I should get some sleep, my alarms going to be going off in a few hours lol!

I have also noticed this, maybe they though the spawn timer was too low?

It's normal that spawn times are increased on the PTR just so they will get enough tested due to the low amount of ppl on PTR, which would make sense since these are challenges ;p

Pretty sure that's what has happened. I'd say the 6-12 is closer to the actual timer, if not 24.

well the past 3 dasy ive beeen up camping i got all the new pets but 2 and skarr and karkin share timers and their timer is 6-12 hours

On the ptr it was around that. They may have uped it to 2-8hours, but I cant change my post cause the forum is locked someone said skarr spawned 3 hours later so a short timer is possible, ive seen Karkin-skarr, 7 hours apart. And dont forget with the server restarts it also resets timers. But is possible for it to be 12 hours.. Hmm I think ill have to see whats going on with these little guys!

I personally wasn't there, but a friend claims a 20 hour wait. Says he stayed there for the whole time, except very quick bathroom breaks and had food with him when he started. Unless one spawned when he was gone for a few moments, tamed successfully, and the tamer left right away, I'm inclined to believe him.

I dont think a 20 hour wait is possible, is your friend at all the spawn area. So he can see all of them? I know theres a chance you can miss it. Also does he have npcscanner up and its not cached? A person can come easily tame it in 10 secs or less, grab it and leave. Or just hearth out. Also server restarts resets the timers.

True, can't know for sure if one of them spawned in the time or not, good chance that he did miss it in one of those moments. Figured there would be the others who missed the tame flutterin' about sad

There's been scheduled restarts on the EU servers at least, at 5-6 am since the patch. I wonder if that is affecting the timers?

anyone have a idea on spawn timer for skitter flame? i mistakenly place the wrong trap and it killed him when i was 1 sec away from tame

Been camping since that last Skarr tame. Karkin was tamed next at 7:21. Still waiting on another one to pop up since then as of 1:24 (7 hours).
We have not missed a spawn. I have been awake with another hunter watching all of the spawns for almost 24 hours now (dedicated to this tame?).

Edit: It's been over 8 hours now. 2:59 PM.

I had Karkin spawn just over 2 hours from the last one.

Also the with the spiders I saw the purple one up got killed and within 10 mins the green spawned and 10 mins of the green tamed the crab appeared.

Wonder if they are tied with each other some how?

Ok 10 mins after crab, red spider spawned
