Yeah, there seem to be quite a few Graphics errors with 3.3.3... In another thread they noticed that shinier weapons and the shiny blue(i think) cobras/hatchlings weren't getting the proper lighting, thus seemed darker, while this is different, it's still a graphics error... I also think I saw someone post about a sparklier Gondria, which i'm not sure if it is true or not, though I wouldn't assume it isn't...

I posted about the sparkly Gondria. It was just Wine messing up the scaling on custom effects. She's not sparklier.

Awe. Although, scaling custom effects is fun. I wonder if the shininess is cause by an error in the Mac Kernel (Darwine, a modified version of Wine).

I got on my main and none of her pets looked any different. However, her raptor mount's plating is UBER shiny... And my mage's Water Elemental looks more like a mirror now.

One thing I noticed though: ghostly pets are now ghostly in the character select screen! My Ghost Saber no longer looks like a normal snow leopard there. <3

Thanks for mentioning the ghostsaber...I was wondering if I was imagining that! She also seems a little more see through in the game...

I noticed on the PTR that my skeletal horse mount had a ton more hoof particles than before. I don't notice it as much on the live 3.3.3, so perhaps it was an artifact or was reverted ... but I did notice that her hoof particles were streaming off the side every time I get onto a boat or zeppelin, which I don't remember happening before.

The streaming has been that way long before. It bugs me off everytime I'm on a DK / Undead.

I started having what I'm assuming are vid card crashes since last night. It could be something as simple as overheating that I'll need to look at, but I just find it odd that it just started happening last night after the patch, and that it only happened on my new hunter on Nesingwary. Didn't have any problems while playing Rhyela on Ysera. Going to try cleaning it tonight just in case, but that still seemed...odd.

Edit: Downloaded recent graphics drivers last night after the crash and it had no effect, it still black-screened me.

I can't see it either. And I'm quite intrigued by these shiny/sparkly pets/mounts...

The screenshot was basically just a close up of a crab that look like it had been covered in liquid metal.

And I wanted to see that!

I'll see if I can retrieve the image. Every now and then imageshack will corrupt an image on me.

That is the most epic crab I have ever seen! If only it was a real skin... lol

The glitch was fixed in the hotfix. It was the layer that is applied to make things look shiny and the actual texture model getting mixed up.
