After abandoning my unused boar to tame Ban'thalos a couple days ago, I decided I wanted to get another pet the provides a bleed debuff and settled on a hyena, since they are ferocity. I have never been able to bond with a hyena though, so I decided to just tame one of each color and see what I liked the most.

I tamed one after the other, but none seemed to bond with me at all. I eventually ended up in Northern Barrens to tame a yellow hyena. I knew I wouldn't bond with it because I hate the yellow hyenas; they so annoying, always attacking me on any and every alt I level trough the barrens.

I tamed the first one I saw, ran around with it a bit, and then headed to Desolace to tame a brown hyena. However, as I began thinking about how I'd have to abandon this little yellow guy I became sad, the thought tugging on my heart strings. I landed, got off my mount, and looked at the hyena next to me. He sniffed the ground and looked eager to go on adventures, so I hit my hearthstone and took my new friend home.

I guess sometimes the pets you think you'll never love, end up being loved a lot.

I love it when this happens!!! It's funny how sometimes it's the last place you look that you find that bond. :) Congrats on your new friend!!!
