YES! So today I'm testing my computer to hope its fixed. I fly around, kinda sad I'm so behind in Molten Front stuff now but oh well right? Then my target macro goes off, IT'S BAN'THALOS!

Holy. Crap.

So I get up on the statue (wth no other Hunters are camping him???), drop a freezing trap, mount up, and... accidentally used Serp Sting so he burst out of trap and killed me.

So I rush back and try again. And Again. And again....

For 20 minutes this bird is ANNIHILATING me. I'm getting upset and frustrated (now I know why no one was camping him!), and I ask my guildies for help. Two of my buds (priest and druid) come to my rescue and thus begin our crazy attempts at getting Ban'thalos.

And we all get our arses handed to us by this ghosty owl =|

FINALLY, about 10 deaths later, Ban gets in my trap and 10 secs later I have a new spirit beast

Ok so.. I didn't really pass the challenge... I needed help But at least my friends and I have one hell of a story!

A tame is a tame regardless of help... But... HUGE GRATS on the new pretty bird!

I was pretty psyched to get this SB. I always adored Olm's ghost owl appearance, but rarely used him cause he was cunning (and I never pvp). However Ferocity owl? Color. me. there.

I too had a VERY hard time taming Ban'thalos (read my story) and I LOVED olm, But i never used him because I was a BM Hunter, he wasn't exotic, and birds of prey arent the best thing to use for DPS. I always really did want an exotic owl of any kind, so when I heard about this guy.......All I wanted from patch 4.2 to be happy was this owl. besides, all my pets are green, my favourite colour is green, owls are my favourite animals so he was welcomed into the family with very very loving arms.

Haha yeah I really love Ban'thalos. I renamed him Hootie (I'll probably release Olm later) and I'm enjoying him a lot
