Anyone else shocked by how things have worked out with these rares? What I expected to be my easiest tame facerolled me, and the hardest tame a cake walk.

Kirix took me two tries on Sas, used the rock strat but only twice and no evading. Saon who has only 106k health, tamed it her second try (died the same time to!). Saon did it the hard way to.

Deth'tilac takes me one attempt solo.

Solix takes me one attempt.

Could have tamed Anthriss and skitterflame easily. (but no room)

Banny takes me one attempt, got on the tree the first try.

Magria I remember to go all natural.

Skarr.. facerolls me cause I dont clue in for some reason And to think I went through the ptr telling everyone oh yah Deth is soo hard solo took me 10 mins to solo her (5 mins on live ) but skarr/karkin one shot easy!

I have been put in my place by a cat. Touche Alucard touche

So anyone else have stories about rares you thought were going to be hard but were easy or rares you thought were easy and face roll you?

Well can't really say since I got into the molten front before everyone else, and didn't have to PvP to claim my tame. Ban'thalos though... died 3 times because my heart was pounding so fast....

Yes, I got Magria pretty easily. I didn't think it'd be that easy, but with little to no competition, and using the equipment manager I got her on the first try.

Ban'thalos on the other hand, I thought would be easy (fall dmg, trap, tame, win?). Turns out he killed me about 10x, and 2 of my friends 3x each. He was a mean son of a beech tree. lol

of all the rares i have (solix,karkin,skitterflame,andmagria, i have the others on ptr) id say that solix is the hardest. deth is just time consumin
