WoW Petopia Community

Okay. Stupid corny title but I hope I at least drew your attention. Often, Warcraft has channels established through friends, word of mouth, and some are the unofficial 'official channels' of the game...

IE: BookClub is the channel name on any server, any faction, that deals with the hunting of the books that spawn in Dalaran.


What would be nice is to establish a rare spawn and/or pet channel that can be universal on any server, any faction, to link up all hunters (and whatever alts/mains they have) in order to better coordinate and share in hunter news, help, or even tattle tale when that elusive Spirit Beast finally pops up!

I encourage you to add a new universal channel: Petopians


I'll be joining/making the channel at least here on my own little home server of Ysera on both Horde side and Alliance side (since... I have one hunter of each... )

I think..for Nesingwary we already have the guild...however..there are those poor lost souls that reject the ways of P. Dawg..suppose we have to reach out to them somehow.

Hmmm great idea.. Atleast Hunters could keep track of rares and let other hunters know where and time of spawns

So how does a "Petopia" channel happen on a realm?

I imagine some brave soul creates it, invites as many hunters/hunter alts/anyone really... they wish, and hopes it sticks... =)

Just type '/join Petopians' And it instant creates it

Sadly no, but it does count for anyone on that realm, in that faction.

Sounds like a good idea, we just need to get the word out. I've seen people spamming trade chat with messages about custom channels for random things. Perhaps some of us can put up messages like that on the WoW forum, or trade chat, etc.

I just hope noone trolls it. You can't really moderate a channel too much.

I don't have any alts on Ysera, only on Terenas. ;-;

It sounds like a wonderful idea though!

I started a topic in WoW general called "What's your realm?" so we can figure out who is on what realm and maybe get the Petopians channel going.
