Update, I now have him I managed to speak to the Horde who stole our spiders and he seemed like an nice enough guy this time, he said he would leave Skarr if I left Karkin alone, so we agreed. He even agreed to stop bringing his Skarr out at the spawn point. He spawned for me at the other end a bit later and I ran down to tame, started, but a rude hunter interrupted. They died, I popped Readiness, and tamed again, another hunter tried to interrupt but this time it was unsuccessful and I made the tame
