Guessing it's a troll.
Can't tame something you don't have aggro on, and there's no way the hunter sauntered up to a mob at a very low hp % and magically pulled aggro. Even Distracting Shot (which wasn't useable on them anymore as of the time this guy posted) only lasts 6 seconds.
That said--the rest of the thread is pretty clear about the hunter support, by looks.

lol the guy is pissed because a Hunter prevent him from killing a rare that was intended as a hunter pet..Talk about a reversal in situations eh ?

Yeah... I figured this was probably trolling too... Unless someone's been living under a rock they should know that any pet that's labeled for hunters won't drop anything worth while, especially with how much they said the wracked up in repair costs...
A few people have hinted that it's a commentary on the whole "rares are for hunters" thing... And that, I could believe. Although, if so, it likely would have been more effective if they didn't make their later comments that made them seem like a jerk.. and idiot... Should have just observed after the first post.

This is probably the BEST idea I've heard yet to try and reduce the griefing. It wouldn't require any mechanics changing... just some kind of category change and a new dragon.. Maybe a green one... Wouldn't help with the people that do it intentionally, but it COULD help with those that "want to see what drops", and would only be applicable to mobs with NO "real" loot (Ie... jadefang would still have silver, cause she also has the mini pet)At the very least they need to remove the silver dragon icon around hunter rares and maybe make it a new color or make a new icon. Up until cata, everything with the silver dragon icon dropped loot.

So when a hunter is trying to tame it, and someone walks up and kills it, it's a horrible thing.
But when a player is trying to kill it, and a hunter walks up and tame it, it's sweet justice.
I don't get it! A rare may not drop a single thing, not one object, but it is still free to be kileld by all. If I sit there and see Skarr, I could kill it if no one is around. Why not, right? I found it, it is mine to do what I want with it. As long as I'm not stealing it from someone, then it's okay. But that would be griefing, stealing a rare someone is trying to kill to tame, or killing a rare that is being tamed.

But seriously, valid points. But I read the thread a bit more and one of the arguments (once again) was that it didn't say it was hunters only. Well... this time Blizzard did kinda say they were ours short of making them wear For Hunters Only signs with a big green bow on top. Like seriously...? If they did do something to lose agro (assuming it's not full of TROLOLOLOLOL) then yea it probably means they died and it was fair game OR the hunter had been shooting for a while and shooting hard and the two guys still didn't do anything about it anyways. Seriously they could have run and killed themsel- you know what? No.
