When did they nerf my pet serpent?

Previously my sunburst adder would coil up from the ground whenever I summoned her and after last time I logged to my troll hunter I notice she is summoned just like normal pet.
Since when my pet serpent got nerfed

My serpents were summoning from the ground pre-4.1 because I have screenshots of a worgen hunter using it for a pet challenge.

Awwwweeeee, i tamed mine after 4.1 i believe, i didnt play my elf hunter very much till i was tired of my druid and it would slither from the ground
Might of been a fox during 4.2 since it appears they fixed a buncha bugs as well as impliment the new content
