NPCscan issues.

For some reason, even with the 4.2 update, I can't seem to add Molten Front to my 'Worlds' list for pets. I've seen several people show that it's under the drop down menu, but each time I check, it's not there. I've updated my NPCscan for 4.2, the same way I always do, 5 times, yet I can't seem to get the Molten Front option available.

Normally, this wouldn't be such a big deal, but waiting around SW in the Dwarven AH, waiting on my dungeon finder, I've had every one of the spiders set off my NPCscan while browsing. Not only this, but it's happened 3 times over. I've resorted to deleting all the spiders except Deth from my NPCscan list, as well as keeping Skarr, b/c these are the 2 true pets I want from the Molten Front. Magria and Ankha aren't any trouble b/c I can list them under Kalimdor.

When I update my Addons, I install them manually by simply clicking Download, then Extracting them to the Addon's folder. I don't have to worry about deleting anything (or so it seems) b/c my computer gives me the option of extracting, then deleting any same-named files that are out of date. Should I be manually clearing my addons file everytime I need to update? Will that work better, or am I doing it right, and NPCscan is just being buggy?

You either need to be in the area or type it in manually. :)

Dear Jessi, thank you for pointing out the obvious, which, as you may tell, I'm often very oblivious to.

The dropdown that shows Molten Front will only show if you are IN Molten Front.

I added all the rares while I was chilling at Malorne, and OMG I was freaking and flipping and cursing when Skarr spawned in MF and NPC didnt go off. Sui told me that tip about the MF dropdown, and Ive been a happy, albeit spazzy camper since.

Anytime. I just happened to notice it when fiddling with NPCScan. XD

I am going to add another question, how do you make it so NPCscan will sound (make the big ayooga noise) while I'm tabbed out? I've notice with a lot of the false alarms I get while tabbed, they don't make the noise even though I can hear the WoW music playing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thats a setting in WoW itself.

Options > Sound > Check off Sound In Background

That's what I mean though, I have that enabled, so I can hear the WoW music and ambience, but the actual NPCscan alert won't sound, it just gives me the target plate when I re-tab in.
