Worms dawg

I'm shooting for a Sin'Dorei centric theme with my blood elf, so I try to keep pets that are red and/or yellow or that have green eyes. While I don't use worms often, I find myself wanting them occasionally for the AoE. Currently I have Oozeworm, which makes the most sense considering he's vividly yellow and has green eyes, but to be honest... I just don't like old-world worms that much. They look dated, and I vastly prefer the Jormungars. Still, I can't seem to settle on a Jormungar that settles into my theme.

If someone could break down one of the fluffy worms in a way that makes it pertain to my theme somehow, that'd be awesome. I know I'm being ridiculous, but haters gonna hate.

The 'original' jormungar skin is probably the warmest looking in terms of colours. It's not red, but the brownish/orange stomach and purple hues might sort of fit.

Besides that one, the green is the only other that I can see working, to match your character's green eyes.

Might just fit the ticket. It may not have red or yellow, but it would match blood knight colors. Red and black. the stomach and sides kind of look green.

You could say that the green worm or black worn was found in the wreckage left by the Dead Scar, feeding on the remnants of what is thought to be Elves. Maybe you shooed it off, but decided to stick around you. Eventually you welcomed it and became pals.

Guys, I think she was looking for more of a reason for her hunter to have a jormungar, not which one would look the best. ;)

With that said, I kind of like Gimlion's idea and while I've been thinking about this, my brain refuses to come up with an idea of my own for how it would fit. o_o

Can always RP having encountered the worm in your travels (which....you did!) and even though it wasn't your character's taste at ALL, it kept following you and wouldn't leave you alone. ;)

Yar, I was thinking something along the lines of that as well Kalli. Especially if your elf ventured through Northrend.

If you don't end up finding a Northrend worm that works, you could try the old world grey and white skins, if you haven't already. I have an old world yellow worm as well. What cemented my bond with it was getting it a baby--Mr. Grubbs! :)

This.

There is some charm to the old world rares; maybe if the fuzzy worm doesn't work out, it's time to spend some extra bonding time with the worm you have. :D (No offense to Bait the ghost worm, but I'm far closer to Scylla, my old world green.)

This is exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. You guys rule. :] I especially liked Gimlion's idea of finding a worm from the Black Scar. I loved the belf starting area when I was leveling, so this really appealed to me. That said, I'm not a big fan of the black or white jormungars, and I agree that the only two that even have SOMEWHAT related color schemes are the green and purple ones, so I tamed one of each:

I think I'm going to keep the greenish one. I seem to remember them being portrayed as diseased or hungry from the Argent Tournament quests, so it would make sense that I'd find one in the desolate Black Scar. Plus, I just think the greenie looks a bit better next to my hunter. Time to make a trip to the Scar to give my newest addition some back story. :D
