So many wonderful people make gorgeous graphics for others in this community, and I would love to be able to be as charitable as they are. My graphic-making skills are far from the best, but something I made for my characters that I thought would be fun is a family tree. I made this for mine last night:



If you would like a tree, all I need is:

1. Your characters' names, and links to their armory if available. If not, please describe face/skin/hair etc. in as much detail as possible.
2. A chest and/or head piece of you choosing, if you would like. Because the pictures are in a profile format, these are the only things you can really see. If you don't have anything specific in mind, I will find something nice-looking for you.
3. What the characters' relationships are to each other.
4. Your family's last name, if you want it, and colors you would like it to be in.
5. If you have another font preference, let me know and I will do my best to find it!

I can also make characters who you might not necessarily play - say, parents or lovers or siblings, whatever you would like, if you just tell me how you would like them to look.

This may be a totally dumb idea but I can't wait to make some stuff for you guys if you would like

Man I wish I could request one but I'd have to make a family tree out of the blue as I don't really have any right now >.>; Cool idea though!

P.S. When I first clicked on this thread, I didn't look at the author yet, but I thought "that sounds like something gigandetsgirl would do..."

Thats awesome! Sadly the only family I have for my wow characters would be my Druid and my Hunter being sisters. Thats about it lol.

Zmoni: Are those the sisters in your signature? Very beautiful! I love the hunter/druid combinations, they just match so well without being identical!

also my toons don't have much of a family.... I guess kuren is like the adopta-father of my other 4 hunters, but.... ya

Ooh, I think I'm going to make one for my hunter, Moey; I have WMV already, so I won't put the burden of creating all 4 of her siblings on you!

This is almost tempting. For someone who doesn't play on an RP site, my characters have a fairly good relationship with one another. Solidifies it in my head. Unfortunately, not all of them are directly related. Some are just family friends (Lilsmith the gnome... although I'm considering turning her dwarf) while others are hired help (Samsen the bank human) or inspired acquaintances (Ruxpin the Night Elf).

I love this idea, Gig! Unfortunately, all my characters have some rather odd family relations and making a family tree would be weird.

My four Trolls are the daughters of my old Troll Mage, but they come from three different fathers, only one of whom is alive now. Also, the mother has run off again to who knows where and only the sisters remain, sometimes tending to their old (step-)father.

My three Draenei are sisters also, but their mother was punished by the law (I always imagine Draenei society as being very strict, in an uber-religious way) for her indiscretions with the girls' father (a vindicator) when they were still little, and after her execution the affair was hushed up and the girls grew up with their grandparents (killed in the crash on Azeroth) never knowing who their father was/is.

My Dwarves are not related, and I only have a story for one of them, which includes a provincial background, deep love for an older man, who she leaves for his sake to marry the local blacksmith from her home town. They try to make it work and all seems ok until she has a miscarriage and afterwards leaves him to go wandering as she cannot help but blame him for her miseries.

My Night Elves are mother and daughter, but they cannot stand each other. Also, the mother's forced marriage to her husband is an unhappy one filled with power struggles and puppy-like devotion on his side.

My Orc is the daughter of an old character of mine, who killed herself once she realised what a horror she herself had become on her quest for revenge. Her father is still alive but insane. Her sister is lost to them.

My Tauren is the daughter of my first hunter, another Tauren who he died lonely and alone, torturing himself for leaving his partner in favour of his wanderlust and travels through Azeroth. He would always come home to her and she would never reproach him or complain, but one day he returned and she had died of a long illness, which he had been too selfish or uncaring to notice during his brief stays. His two sons had also contracted a disease and died shortly after their mother and only Dawnsong the girl survived. He couldn't bear to stay at home, and left the girl in the hands of his family, departed Mulgore forever and died alone in the wilderness.

My Worgen's family are dead. She killed her own husband recently and her son is lost to her since the Forsaken invasion of Gilneas, though he may yet live.

My Blood Elves are lovers, but as my priest (the husband) is in an unhappy and abusive marriage to my husband's paladin character (the wife), this is not a perfect state of affairs. My female blood elf is using the male to gain her own ends (she has a lot of baggage in her past as well), and my male Belf abuses his wife all the more cruelly the more Salariel enslaves him.

Only one of my Goblins has a story, and though it's the only one that isn't unhappy to some extent, neither does she have family of any kind to speak of, as her parents died on Kezan.

So, after this excessive rambling...I'll just say I'm looking forward to seeing what you make for others!

I may be interested in having one of these done I'll think about it - very cool idea though! <3
