While I guess I could have put this in the Pokemon thread, it seems like a better idea to have for this to have one all its own.

Here's the purpose of the thread:
To exchange Pokemon Black/White Friend Codes between members of the community.

ruby sapphire were the best... i didnt even try black and white =/ they aren't pokemon any more

Actually, I far prefer Black/White to Ruby/Sapphire and Diamond/Pearl. I like where they're going with most, if not all of these pokemon. And the plot is absolutely freaking amazing. Only thing I don't like is that you can't name any of your rivals. You basically have three and can't name any of them. :1

it seems silly, they pushed dragon and bug types a bit far, a lot of the pokemon just.... an icecream cone really? emo candle? sigh just ruby sapphire had best story line and was really good. fire red/leaf green were bad... im not a fan of diamond and pearl. silver version original was and forever will be one of the best games ive played heh... but yea i still have ruby and sapphire atleast and play them often... im dork i know

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. The reasoning behind Team Magma and Team Aqua was silly and unrealistic whereas, in Black and White, everyone's motivations make sense. They stand up to logic and we can see why they've chosen to do what they have. I thought the pokemon in Ruby and Sapphire were entirely too mechanical looking, whereas Black and White have gone back to the original ideas of pokemon. Yes, there are some duds, just like there are in any pokemon game, but the good pokemon far outweigh the bad.

Anyway, this is not what this topic is for. This conversation would be better suited to the official pokemon thread, not one centered on exchanging friend codes, so I'd like to ask that you refrain from continuing this conversation. I'd like to keep this thread as on topic as I can.

If you really feel it is necessary to continue this conversation, feel free to send me a PM. But don't expect a reply, as I am entitled to my own opinion just as you are entitled to yours and my opinion is that I'm sick of disagreements, fights, and the like, and that I'd prefer not to be in one.

It's views like these that truly make me want to hit my head against a wall... Honestly, what's so "Not-Pokemon" about them? Just because they aren't to YOUR oh-so-important tastes they're immediately NOT Pokemon? I think someone takes their own opinion a little too seriously. Besides, I don't see what's so different between some 5th gen Pokemon and some previous ones. Take.. Mienshao, for instance. It's a martial arts weasel. Compare that to.. Zangoose, which is an aggressive mongoose. Not too much of a difference there, really. Both are hard-hitting, ferocious furry creatures.

And honestly, I'm not even sure which I prefer more; Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald or Black and White... Emerald was my very first real Pokemon game (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team being the very first <3) but I absolutely ADORE Black. Some of the Pokemon in that game.. Agh, I love them so much! And the plot is amazing too! I still love Emerald though, and I'm so ecstatic at the thought of remakes of Ruby and Sapphire.

Yay! Honestly, this is a pretty good idea. I think.. I only have ONE person here on the forums added to my Pal Pad in Black. Heck, it's probably the exact same in SoulSilver. (And naturally, it's the same person; Magna~! XD) I... Should probably get around to adding everyone else. Well, everyone else who posts in this lol

Yeah. I have you and a couple of nuzlockers, but that's it. That's why I made the thread!(: Figured it'd be useful.

I don't know how to find them, and even if I did, there's no way I'll have the guts to battle anyone. You guys all believe in EV training, and I still don't have a good idea how it works. XD

That said, I like to argue that SS is my favorite, for the pokemon choices, but I love Diamond's storyline the best, personally. Black...eh. There were a lot of pokemon that just didn't speak to me. I didn't like how the majority of them looked, but I also adore some of the older pokemon and was miffed I couldn't even practically get an eevee. Come on. Is it so much to ask for a Sol? D:

And, everyone, if we could keep discussions about which game is better to either PMs or the official Pokemon thread, I'd be very happy.

The only reason I say B/W codes is because it's the newest and it's the easiest to do it on.
For those who don't know how to find your FC here's how:
Open your bag.
Go to the slots that have your Town Map.
Open your Pal Pad.
Go to "Find <Name's> Friend Code"
And there it is!

Just have to say this nothing beats the first 150. They are and allways will be the best and not just cos I remmber red and blue comeing out or anything.
