Apparently there is a hunter on Grizzly Hills named [...] that tamed Deth'tilac on the first day of the patch. Now that he has the pet he camps the spawn point to prevent other hunters from taming it by killing it wile they are in the process of taming it and he dose this to Both horde and alliance mind you. His reasoning behind this is that claiming that other hunters shoudn't be allowed to tame because then his pet isn't as "special & unique".

This guy really takes the cake when it comes to asshats that are just pissed off at the world

Wow. That's really crappy of him. :/ A pet is special and unique as the person who tames it believes it to be. Keeping others from getting a beloved pet is horrible.

His pet isn't a special little snowflake, there's thousands of them all across the servers and millions more to come. Is he really so pig-headded that he thinks that Blizz made the pet just for him?

I do believe my signature fits what I feel about this entire thing.

Just a friendly reminder, Petopia has rules against naming and shaming. This sounds like a matter for GM reports than a forum thread, anyway.

That said, thanks for the heads up, but Petopia has a no naming and shaming policy. I recommend you edit out that hunter's name.

Instead of making a post on Petopia, you need to just report the player if you see them griefing others. Bringing the 'fight' here really solves nothing. If the person is intentionally killing people's tames-during the taming process-that is a matter that you need to report to Blizzard and let them deal with it.

Eh, it's good for people on that server to know to watch out for him/that particular sort of hunter. But yes, do ticket him and get your peeps to ticket him like whoa.

I agree, its a good thing to rant but you need to contact Blizz first since they have the power, and all we can do is go "Damn thats mean"

Blizz has been notified about his actions thats for sure but people on here need to know about this guy and watch out for him especially since hes a hunter right here on these forums

The sad thing is though that he spent all that time making strat to make it easier for OTHERS to tame it but wont let anyone tame it on the server? That is.. extremely sad. I know about the no naming/shaming but if this guy is doing it alot AND is a "petopian" I think his name should be out there.

And there is a policy about naming and shaming. Take it to WoWJackass, certainly, but they do not want you posting it here except generally. "A hunter". A "Goblin hunter", even. But nothing else.

As other people have told you, you really need to edit out the name of the hunter. It's against the forums rules to name and shame. Take it to wowjackass, but his name should not be posted here. Period, point blank, end of statement.

Yes, it's sad that someone from these forums is doing this, but that does not change the fact the they have the right to have their privacy preserved.

Rules are rules are rules. Fine, he's a Petopian. Report him and tell the mods and move on. There's a ho name and shame policy, and let's look at this way.

He hasn't broken any forum rules. Yes, he was a jerk. But no where in the forums does it say, "Hey! Don't kill other rares, or camp them and prevent other people from doing so!" It's an unwritten courtesy, but not a rule. The no naming and shaming policy is, and by breaking it, you are committing more of a crime than he is.

That said, by forum standards he hasn't broken any rules, so technically, I doubt he can be banned or warned for what he did. Blizz can do what he wants, but the forums have little power.
