Loque'nahak!<3

Hello Petopia forums. :3 I've been lurking like a creeper for awhile now, reading all of the taming stories, so I figured I would finally make an account and share one of my own. ^_^; I apologize in advance for how long this post is. D:
Back when I started playing, I saw someone with Loque'nahak and thought he was the most amazing looking creature in the entire game. After that, I wanted so badly to play a hunter and tame my own Loque, but for some reason I just couldn't bring myself to level one past 20 or so. I ended up finally leveling one to 70 with my fiance when we made RaF accounts together about a year later, but I ended up shelving it and sort of forgetting about it.
Fast forward to shortly after Cata, when I grew bored of my warlock. I picked up my hunter again, and as I leveled it, all I wanted to do was find my own Loque. Once I hit 76, I completely stopped leveling and did nothing but camp. My fiance even got on his Shaman to fly around the Basin and help me find him, but we had no luck.
I camped obsessively, and all I saw during my time there was another hunter on a set path south of Nessingwary's camp, doing nothing but killing giraffes (obviously botting). I was convinced Loque would never spawn. I left Sholazar a couple times out of frustration, and ended up getting lucky and practically walking into Arcturis and Gondria. While I was excited to finally have a couple of rare pets, there was something missing, and I still refused to stop camping for Loque.
So after about a week of spending hours upon hours flying around Sholazar, my fiance logged into his Shaman one morning while I was still sleeping. He did a couple of laps and FINALLY his NPCScan goes off and there Loque is, just walking back and forth on a rock!
I woke up to "BABY GET UP, I FOUND LOQUE!" He told me he had never seen me jump out of bed that fast before.
I bolted to our office as fast as possible, and I don't think my computer has ever turned on so slow before. I sat there anxiously glancing back and forth between his monitor and my loading screen.
My hands were shaking too much to even put down a frost trap and the cast bar on tame beast felt like it took hours. All I could think was that with my luck, an Alliance would show up any second to kill me. I sat there staring at the cast bar, and panning my camera around to see if anyone was coming. Finally I reached the end of my cast bar, and I watched Loque shrink and run over to stand beside me. He was finally mine!
Literally seconds after taming him, the hunter I had seen botting made his way up and killed some more giraffes. If I had gotten there even a few minutes later than I did, he probably would have ended up killing Loque.
I named him Lateralus, after the Tool album. For some reason, it just fit. <3
(That was before I server transferred and had to change my hunter's name xD)
