Your not the dragon I'm looking for!

After months of searching Northrend off and on, I've finally almost gotten the Frostbitten achievement. All that's left is:
A little hard to make out, but Vyragosa is the last one I need. In all my times in Storm Peaks I've only ever seen her corpse twice. So, seeing as I was down to the last one I decided to try and camp it out. I've been reading up on her spawn points and times between spawns. I decided the frozen lake was a good bet, and with any luck it'd just be a short camp. I parked myself over her spawn point, and watched some television while waiting.
About 2 hours later NPCScan goes off. I though to myself, "Finally, I'm done with Frostbitten and I can leave Northrend behind!" I turned back to my game and.... it wasn't the dragon I was looking for...
What are the odds? I think this is just proof that I'm not ever supposed to see Vyragosa alive. I am very happy to finally replace my Bronze Drake though.
