I just wanted to draw attention to this amazingly superb story that originated on the official WoW forums.

Basically the person who started it was only wanting a way to clear his writer's block, so he posted a little blurb of a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure type of story. It would be interactive, where he would respond to commands given by other forum-goers and write the story as he went.

It turned into something absolutely epic, and I cannot stress how much everyone should read it! Luckily he compiled the entire thing on a website so you don't have to wade through the forum pages for everything. He writes the commands that others gave like:

>Travel east

And so on and so forth.

The main character is an Orc Hunter too.

It's a long story, but as I said totally worth it. It's divided into parts which are listed on the left-hand sidebar.

My favourite aspect is that the writer is very talented and has a knack for witty humor and the ability to draw you into the story. It's extremely well written.

I'm only about a fifth into the thread and I'm loving it! Thanks muchly for the link; had completely missed this.

I'll have to start reading this when WoW's down or something, or when I get some time.

So I just spent the better part of two days reading this, and all I can say is wow. WOW.

That was amazing! He fits humor in so well, but when he gets to actual serious moments you can see he's got writing talent as well. Fantastic. I will never look at that quest the same way again. XD

I know! I finished it in 2 days as well. ^^ It was like a book I couldn't put down. =O

And it's so true...I will never, ever view that quest the same way again. ;_;
