After losing out on Skarr, yesterday I went and found other pets.

Now, today, after losing out on Anthriss to alliance killing it, and spotting another Ban'thalos.


Then, I go into Molten Front for a bit...I see npcscan go off right away for Skarr...but it's probably a false alarm.
I check, and it was.

But, I decide to check his spawn as well...he's not there.
Dad calls me for lunch, I go upstairs to get it and them come back.
I return, and skarr is right there as his southern spawn waiting for me to tame him.
Quickly switch to MM, start tame, silence shot, tame again...and he's mine!
Finally.


That's a dead scorpion I killed so he would come out of stealth.

I got Skarr out of sheer dumb luck. Other hunters were camping Karkin and Skarr spawned, no one wanted him, so I ran to the edge of the rocks and tamed him without a hitch. He's an easy tame once you know the trick. I'm glad I got him so easily.

I lucked out last night; there were two other Horde (like me) hunters waiting for him, but they both went to bed and I didn't, and he spawned about 2:30am or so. And yes, easy when you know the trick (and are MM), hard otherwise.
