Just about given up

Just had my 5th try at taming Skarr a few minutes ago. Now the 5th time I've been killed and had the cat taken from me. Ever since I started playing back in vanilla hunting rare pets was one of my favorite things to do but as of the last month the constant ganking and squabbling over pets has begun to take its toll on me.
