Solix dead again.. its hard enoguh to tame him with all those mobs stunning you, attacking you, preventing you from eating cause your stuck in combat and I was helping my friend tame it by using traps. First time she died solo. Second time a pally comes to attack him, and she dies from the various mobs on her. I whisper the pally to stop cause my friend was trying to tame it. A warrior then tried to pull her and got one shotted We tried again and we got solix to the right point, then pallidin grabbed agro and kept on beating him, he died but then a warrior pulled agro (friend of the hunter, I guess, he died) and my hunter friend ended up dying by the mobs and solix died a second later.

I whispered the pallidin asking what the heck? basically and he said he didnt know, he was trying to help kill it. At first I was like ok.. umm yah getting agro prevents tame, then I realized I whispered him not even a min before telling him to stop because my friend wanted to tame it.

But I get that alot "I was only trying to help kill it" frig.. sorry I needed to vent. Thats not a excuse... not.. an excuse

Ouch... I know how that is... I think during my first Solix attempt someone thought the same.. Either that.. or the hunter that was trying to help me got overzealous and kept trying to kite even after I started taming her and ended up getting aggro.. I got her at the next spawn, but the camping was boring, heh.

Honestly.. I'm going to bet that guy was probably doing it on purpose :/ I'd like to think people are better than that, but when it comes to WoW.. that's unfortunately note usually the case in situations like this. Especially if you told him to stop, and he kept trying to "help"... I can just picture him snickering behind his monitor as he types "Sorry, I was only trying to help" ...

Hopefully you'll get her next time If it helps, I've seen her spawn 8 hours after a server reset.. (on coming in a few days!), or when i Tamed her, that was about 13-14 hours gives or take 30 mins after my previous failed attempt (and I sat there almost all day.. so I don't think I missed a spawn).

Ugh that's horrible.

I've watched several hunters tame some of the new rares that I wasn't interested in or already had, and almost each time someone would run up and start trying to dps. I whispered all of them and would ask them to please stop because a hunter was trying to tame it. Luckily in those cases, every time it was met with an "I'm sorry, I didn't know! Wow no wonder it hits hard," but I'm dreading the day that it's just some asshat trying to be a jerk. -.-

I'm also totally dreading the day that some jerk sees me taming a rare and comes up to kill it mid-tame. =/

Yeah, my Magria utterly nuked someone that right-clicked it on accident...thankfully, they were a good sport and were glad that I got the tame.
