Rehoming

I just have to tell this story! I am on Whisperwind and I have not seen Ankha anywhere or with any hunter on my side, maybe on the horde side but I was on my mage about to do some Molten Front dailies and I was coming over a ridge and I descended into Regrowth and I was coming in a little low, haha, and I happen to land and in the front of me was Ankha, the pretty white spirit kitty beast. I followed her around and I didn't see any hunters around and I was shocked. I immediately posted in general and several hunters responded but one actually came. I got afraid at one point because a DK came running in and I whispered him asking about not killing her. He said that he wouldn't. We stayed on her till a hunter (worgen) came along. He died because he forgot to take off his armor. *giggles* He comes back and I saw the flash of gold and Ankha go to his side. ^_^ I felt pretty proud, one because I had seen my very first 4.2 rare up close and personal and I was able to save a gorgeous kitty I am going to get for my hunter when she gets to 85. I just had to share this story.

That is a sweet story. I did the same with Magria. I had her already on my hunter, but was sitting in her spot waiting for Ankha. Lo, Magria spawns. I ask in general if anyone wants her. I only get one bite. An alliance person I know from my ally guild comes up. I ask him to wait using emotes. He does, and sits beside me. The hunter who wanted her finally arrived and tamed her (after I told him to remove armor). Magria, the pretty blue kitty, now has a home with a hunter who will love her!
I logged on my ally toon afterward to thank him for not killing her. He was shocked to find out the orc hunter was me and said he was sorry because he thought about trying to kill it. Good things this week....

I rehomed Magria once, found an orc hunter and told him how to get it.
And then last night I saw Magria again, and there were no other hunters around who wanted it.
So I tamed it. And I'm not sure how I feel about that. I ... had decided not to tame any exotics, since I PvE and PvP exclusively as MM, and didn't feel it was right to take them just to sit in my stable.
But I sat with my Magria a long while at the nearby shrine and couldn't give her up.
Not yet, anyway.
It felt like a religious experience for Mindala, my character. Trolls do worship spirit beasts, for one thing, and certainly should I feel revere them.
