In a couple weeks, I tamed all 10 of the new firelands pets. It was extremely time-consuming to camp them all, but in the long run, I feel it was worth it. They all look amazing. I'm going to go easiest to hardest here.
Ankha (Unique Model): It was quite simple. When I saw her, I switched to BM, removed my armor (I had an outfit saved), and tamed. I hardly lost any health. Make sure you remove your cloak as well.
Magria (Unique Model): ^
Ban'Thalos (Unique Model): Dismounted, arcane shot, parachuted, deterrenced in mid-air to avoid the moonfire, landed, trapped, tamed.
Solix(Unique Model): Simply kited him with concussive shot over and over. (The daze lasts longer than the CD for the shot). When he was about 40% speed, I deterrenced and casted tame.
Skarr (Unique Model): Used MMS Spec: Started a regular tame, then interrupted the barrage, and tamed again. Easy mode.
Karkin (Unique Model): ^
Anthriss (Not a Unique Model): Disengaged back into the lava pool (Be sure you are swimming in it, O/w you're dead), backed up a few steps, and tamed. Deterrence is good for insurance but isnt entirely necessary.
Skitterflame (Not a Unique Model): I put a freezing trap right in front of him, waited for the CD to wear off, then pulled him, once he was trapped in it i laid down another freezing trap. Popped readiness, put down an Ice trap, dragged him out of it before the ice killed him, and tamed.
Kirix(Not a Unique Model): Used aspect of the wild. When he did his knockback, i disengaged off of it to gain good distance, deterrence, and tamed. The time it takes for him to run for you is long enough to get a tame off before magmatoxin starts.
Deth'Tilac (Definitely a Unique Model): It would take two pages to fully explain the tame. I simply kited him around using ice traps and concussive (I only used Snake trap once, and that was to pull him). I used a spider because the web is quite useful. After i sacrificed my pet enough times, I abandoned him, got a good distance from Deth, ice and snake trapped, and tamed.
I think from order to first tamed to last tamed it was Ankha-Deth-Kirix-Skarr-Solix-Karkin-Ban'Thalos-Skitterflame-Anthriss-Magria.

I did not tame Skitterflame or Anthriss. Is there any difference between them and the common yellow and red spiders in Widow's Clutch? I'm honestly curious. If there is...well, time to camp them!

Not really. Kirix isn't a unique model anymore either. It just feels good having all 10. If you want to prove that you tamed the rare, use NPCscan.

Camping isn't that bad when you know where to go aside from Karkin/Skarr and Magria/Ankha.

I spent quite a bit of time camping Skarr/Karkin/Deth'Tilac. I found the rest of them while camping those three, pretty much. It didn't take as long as I thought, though. I was done with most of them about a week after the patch, and people were still confused about taming them, and dying miserably.

Btw: Knowing exactly how to tame them before you start camping them is a really good way to be prepared. The hunters around me learned that the hard way. I didn't care about how well they pulled off the tames, mostly, but on Skarr i was killed atleast 4 or 5 times by the Fieroclast barrage when other hunters were trying to tame him.
If you don't like camping, just put NPCscan, turn your speakers up, and read a book or something.
