So, after getting Ankha, for some reason I figured I would attempt to get to where Skarr and Karkin spawned...

It must be noted that (a) I am really BAD at platformers and (b) I'm pretty slow, reaction-wise when under pressure in game. In short, I fell off the Molten Front three times to my eventual death, burned multiple times, and in short, really really learned all about spirit healers firsthand.

Then I figured to mount and race through the flames, somehow got up all the rocks and after watching Jessibelle tame her Karkin, hopped to where she'd sat. And began to wait... and wait... and wait.

I knew I would never EVER be able to get back up there, so I gave myself the arbitrary deadline of tonight, knowing that after that I was masochism, and began my camp. I work at home, so had wow tabbed from Friday on... 8-12 hours a day. I saw a Skarr spawn on the other side and get tamed... then kept missing the spawn by minutes... got a lovely Karkin (named Sunstone, thank you) on Sunday... watched another person who'd also been waiting tame her SKarr this 1:50 server.

And about 20 minutes ago, my handsome baby spawned RIGHT across from me, looked over, and waited for me to tame... I tamed, used silencing shot, then that Macro that someone posted here... and then saw the flash...

And promptly disconnected... my network went down... and refused to come up... and then WoW refused to load...

FINALLY the network and wow came together and I logged in and sitting next to me at the character screen... was my handsome boy...

I heartstoned, got one picture, and then logged... I think I'd like SOMETHING to eat today

Congrats~ Sometimes patience is everything. (And don't feel bad, I'm a terrible jumper. Ziarre will attest to this completely. 3+ fall deaths from those stupid rocks. It doesn't help I have poor judgement about jumping between heights, too... I've been making an effort to conquer said rocks. It's gone decently, aside from falling off cliffs/etc. from sneezing (need to move hand OFF mouse when about to sneeze) and having a short panic that I NEEDED off the rock about to break...) That and Fire!path along cliff... uhhh... slipped off more then a few times myself trying to avoid incineration. So don't feel bad!
