Having finally accumulated enough marks for one of these, I was curious as to everyone's recommendations on which to choose first?

I love the Druid quests a lot more, vehicle mechanics make me happy

Vehicle mechanics meaning they have actual vehicles you ride, or vehicles mechanics as in "bear cub tossing"?

You get to hop on a firebird and bomb enemies. :3

What is the main difference between the two?

I've not accumulated enough marks, as I've been out of town and too busy camping that damned no-show Skarr to actually work on the dailies...

So I have not picked one of them yet myself and do not know which I will go with yet.

Druids of the Talon will catch you if you fail at rock jumping over by Skarr. :P

You end up doing both anyways, so it's not a huge deal who you choose first.

The druids will sometimes give you this quest that you go on this hawk, and you go bomb stuff. It's the same thing at the first quest you get in Outland. You can even see the "Raid group" doing there thing as well.

I know, I just figured I'd like to do the "fun one" first, if there is a notable difference.

Ah, I understand. I'm not even sure where Druids of the Talon's one is yet, but I haven't gathered enough marks for either, as I've been a bit distraught with trying to hunt down Ankha.

I enjoy the druid dailies more, but find the warden dailies easier.

The wardens got my vote. I do think the talon quests are overall more fun, but I can't stand the initial talon fire ramp quest.

I love the Druid quests more then Wardens.
As for the Into the Fire quest (yes I hate that quest lol) I just have my beetle tank all of the Naga who run up. He doesnt ever drop below half health when we reach the Big fire elemental. Plus once the druids spawn to kill the ele all of the naga run off.

I vastly prefer the Druid dailies to the Wardens. The catch-me-if-I-fall perk is nice, plus I just find them more enjoyable overall. I hate the Warden quests in Solix's cave. ><

I did the Warden dailies once just to see them and get the Lasher quest chain started, but I do Druid dailies for all the rest. Also, the Druids give you more opportunity to start on some of the achievements.

I actually like the dailies though for Druids of Talon better as well, and for Shadow Wardens, you only need to do those dailies once to knock out the achievement portion of it.

I'm 2/6 of those or something? 2/5? meh I'm camping Aotona and cba counting.
But Druids ftw. What was Blizz thinking when they made the Warden ones? BORING

Yeah, it was fun watching everyone (including me) bumble around the first day Enduring the Heat was available. Now that I've looked over a map guide for destroying the runes, I actually think it's one of the most fun warden quests.

And yes, I'm sure once I start running the talon quests for cheevs, I'll become resigned to the initial quest (maybe actually bring a tenacity pet next time!), but I'll stick with the warden quests until I've unlocked all the vendors.

The Shadow Wardens daily that gets you to weaken a druid for a Warden to capture it in a trap made me laugh - them nelfs really like their deathstar traps.

If you are really dedicated to doing the bombing achievement I'd do Druids first for sure, but once you unlock Wardens you'll end up doing those to max out your tokens daily (since all you have to do is kill the pyrelord to phase in the druid hub if an elemental you need happens to be up - you can access the firehawk as long as it is phased in and you don't turn in or complete the bombing quest)

Wardens are far easier. Druids make me want to tear my hair out (I've already fallen to my death and burned to a crisp in fire) but I'm stuck with Druids until I'm done with the bombing quest. I don't find repetition fun and as others said, you'll have to do both, so pick whichever you like.

Frankly, it doesn't matter too much which you start with. I started yesterday with DotT, and I'm up to 44 marks already. So it should go by fairly rapidly till SW.
