Madexx had my number today and when I came home at lunch, I felt like he was calling. I'd already decided I didn't want a black or brown one. I wanted a red, blue, or green...with blue being my first choice. When I got out there, it was the blue one though I would have bet anything he was purple (which is ok since that means epic in WoW ). Kalliope confirmed he was blue though. Later that night, Kalliope found the brown one and I went to see it. An alliance hunter came out to tame it and I just kept the trash around him off him while he made the tame. Kalliope and I took a 'family' picture after the tame. Nevermind that we aren't even on the same side!

Grats! I found red Madexx today, and showed a guildie of mine who ended up taming him. I'd already decided I liked the brown model better (originally, I was gonna go for green.. but then I realized the brown one looked like chocolate ), so I was happy to rehome him! First time I'd seen one of the unique colours. Almost made me change my mind seeing it in person... but I don't think I could ever part with Nine now!

Congratz on blue madexx! I had ended up getting my green madexx by pressing my marco by accident, and BOOM, Madexx appears.

I hate you. So, so, much. *angry glare*

I have been camping blue Madexx for 4 months without even a sighting or a hint of him. I even stayed up til past 4am on my server when no one was around and he didn't show. I even submitted 2 GM tickets asking if he only spawned on certain servers (To this day, I have yet to see a single hunter on my server with him). They claimed he did, but I think they are lying. Why else would I see 3 green, a zillion reds, countless blacks, and even a few fugly browns and not one blue within 4 months!?

Yeah, yeah, random is random, but really? 4 months and not a sighting? I think something is wrong there.

Anyway, grats on that super awesome, extremely rare pet.

Server transfer???? I'm so sorry! I feel kind of bad because I had no intentions of really taming Madexx but I just felt the calling and went out there. It was fate!

I have gone so far as to offer 2k to anyone who leads me to a tame of blue Madexx. I've been keeping that offer up for 2 months. NOT. ONE. BITE. Either no one wants a free 2k or the 25g grey is more important, or bluey just doesn't exist.
