OH SWEET SWEET JUSTICE! After many MANY deaths on the account of Kirix the other day I got my vengeance in Enslaving this Spider. His will bent to mine with ease this time around, he just saw the futility in fighting against it.

He will forever be "Spider." A no named Arachnid, out of sheer spite.

You could name him Spite. Just sayin'. Grats on the tame.

That is pure evil. Kirix is the best damn mob in the game. You can't deny him a NAME! He deserves the best goddamn name you can think of! Also, glad he pwned you many times. Bwahaha.

Hopefully he will turn on you and poison you in your sleep, Thor. >.>

That's kind of going against the spirit of the forum, Sarantha. :/ Although I do agree that it's not Kirix's fault the OP was unprepared to handle him and that he shouldn't be denied a name on those grounds, it's a little mean to say "I'm glad he pwned you so many times."

Got another idea. How about Manservant? Or Jeeves....cackle.

Congrats! Kirix killed me too many times to be greatly enamoured of him in particular myself.

I have a Kirix-look alike named Gizmo, for no real reason but there you go. I gave up on the real Kirix after about six deaths, jut because I was getting tired of it. Gizmo is funny anyways, when pulled out after a cache clear, he arrives in his broodling size for a few moments.

It is a fitting name though. I named mine Loki because he is fast, deadly, and will kill you in a heartbeat if you're not prepared. =P

You are torturing that gorgeous green and black spider! He just wants love!! Love him, dammit! You worked hard for him, got him, so enjoy him! Don't keep him caged up just to look at once in awhile! Play with him! Do dailies with him. Treasure your wonderful new pet!

Though I do keep my Kirix in my stables, because I don't want him to get hurt and use him as cannon fodder. My pet bear named Thor is used for that. >.>

My Kirix/Loki is stabled next to lovely Gondria/Blushweaver, so he can enjoy her frosty little presence and Skoll/Fenrir, cuz spirit wolves are badass.

Only when it comes to those whom attempt to fight my will. Spider had his day which I allowed him to have. I gave IT false hope and now it knows that it really had NO chance. He is in my stables and in my stables he will remain until it's earned my good graces.

Kirix barely fought me. Maybe he knew I'd love him for realz. Haha. He did kill me a few times, but I'd have had it no other way. He was perfect and my first rare Firelands tame. I couldn't even bring myself to kill stuff with him, cuz I loved him so much. They had FINALLY added in a mob that I cared about!

Hey you cant blame kirix cause he likes his job. All he is doing is getting revenge for all those rares who were killed by people who thought it was funny. Every time someone dies from Kirix, Karkin smiles, And Anthriss laughs and that Sambas? Purring baby purring! Skarr to! Solix and skitterflame.. and Deth enjoy it to! Hes just representing for all the rares killed and a mock and insult to everyone hunter who runs up traps and hits tame.

So dont think of it as hes some evil little booger but he was testing your desire for him. Clearly dying 6 times meant you really wanted him or your stubborn but not naming him is sad

Ha, still reminds me of my Cat, Cat. That cat made people so upset because I never named him. Loved Cat.

I actually have a guildie who's running with a common red lava spider he hasn't named. Spider has gained a personality through not having a name. This is likely to be a similar case, only with more hostility toward Spider. Poor Kirix; can't blame him for being himself.
