I've had my Tsukuyomi (Loque) for a while now, I'm rather content with him. Petemotes has given him his own personality and it's just fun seeing that beam come down and smack someone (I played a boomkin in ICC raids before getting the hunter up.)

So far after hitting 80 no one has really complained about my being a BM hunter. I do decent trash damage and manage around 3k or higher (usually higher) on bosses. I've hit 4.5k on a boss before, almost cried tears of joy, and that's with Tsuku out.

I've got a few 'cool pet's' and 'where did you get that pet?' while running with him and I have to admit those comments make me rather happy. I love my pet's, they are amazing creatures that help me out when I need them the most (In game and irl.)

Now, that being said, I've also had a few comments Against my pets. I was told in a heroic FoS run to put my pet on passive for the last boss (duh) or to Get Rid Of IT. First off...it's Tsuku, Tsu, or Tsukuyomi, not IT. Second..I'm a BM hunter, and this little fuzzy bundle of love next to me is a good chunk of my DPS. He stays. I'll pull him back at Mirror Soul (And I do, I have it timed now.)

The most amusing one I've ever had was someone that came up to me in Dalaran, on their priest, and smacked me. I asked 'What was that for?' and the response...'You stole my kitty!' The me sitting at the computer was currently having a WTF face on as I stared at this person that was slapping me...for having Loque. I decided to leave after about ten slaps, and got a 'Kittynapper!' yelled at me for my troubles.

I'm just wondering if I'm alone with this or if anyone else has had something like this happen to them before.

I fell in love with sporewing on my relatively new hunter. It's amazing how people underestimate them. I had a nelf in AV /point and /rofl at my pet long enough for me to kill him with no damage taken.

I'm not joking, I literally had a dream about Loque the other night.

Nobody has ever slapped me or anything when I run around with Skoll out. Honestly I have gotten maybe three comments on him in the time that I've had him. They've all been positive too.

That person accusing you of Kittynapping is clearly a weirdo.

I think I've had one person say something similar about Gondria some time back. He ran up to me, targeted my pet, walked back 2 or 3 paces, and kept on sneezing... I was like, ermmm ok?

There are some pretty 'different' people out there Either that or he inhaled a bit of Gondria's shiny aura stuff x)

I haven't gotten too many "off" comments of late in heroics about any of my pets. When I've showed up with Clayburn, I occasionally get a "cool pet" response, but it seems like the majority of the people in the Cyclone battlegroup are just in the random for the badges and aren't there to talk much.

In my raid, I have gotten occasional grumbles about Clayburn's size from the bipedal melee'ers...and an occasional, "sorry, can't see - have dino butt in my face" over vent. But the feral druids absolutely adore him. On some bosses, it's apparently difficult for a feral to see where the back of the boss winds up after he moves...but in my raid, all they have to do is follow Clayburn. He's always behind the boss...and he's almost impossible to miss.

Once, when we were attempting the Blood Princes, everything was going all pear-shaped and we were wiping. I had put my pet on a Kinetic Bomb and wasn't paying attention as people started dying around me. All of a sudden, over Vent, I hear our big bad Tauren warrior tank cry out "Clayburn! Nooooo!" I turn around just in time to see one of the Princes finish beating poor Clayburn to death as I die, too. The laughter in vent took a lot of the sting out of that learning wipe.

My ghost wolf has earned me a lot of comments. One guy even asked where the spirit beast spawned so he could tame it too. I said that it doesn't spawn anymore. He went on swearing at me. An awesome guy. Really.

PvP, I'm always the first one slaughtered the SECOND the Horde locks eyes onto me. Usually because my baby has taken off across the field and is munching on the Priest's butt before anyone has a clue what the hell happened XD

Nightshade seems to bring out the worst in people. No joke.

Dalaran Sewers, this morning:
I got challenged to a duel with Tiberias out (and I don't duel honestly, it's like watching someone's e-peen size go up if you so much as lose) and ended up losing (my own fault, as I said, I don't duel - only time I ever did was for the achievement and haven't done it since). Cue a whole bunch of BS about BM being underpowered, how I should get a REAL pet (like his wolf), all this other lovely stuff. I swap to MM spec and bring out Nightshade.

There's silence. Epic silence. I get a /cheer from the Belf Hunter standing around (recognised him as a fellow Gezzarak owner). Then this guy tells me I'll never beat him. Nightshade proceeds to then eat his wolf's entire head, polish off the bones and then turn her attentions onto his face.

I had to put the douchebag on ignore because he said I hacked the game and tamed Backbiter and he was going to report me.
All because Nightshade happened to peg his sorry ass in a DUEL.

Sad really. Some players just need a good hard smack right between the screws and then they'd be decent, honest people I reckon.

I had a lowbie grats me on taming Claymore in Un'Goro, and during one of the holiday bosses I ended up with a hunter who was rocking Arcturis and we chattered about spirit beasts, since I had Charlie with me. But generally no one says anything, aside from the occasional whining that Claymore is too loud for the auction house.

Occasionally I'll get comments about Jerk, though...

The night I tamed Loque most people were pretty congratulatory about it... except for this one hunter who is known to be a complete b*tch. She started to criticize my gear (which we all know is SO important before hitting 80 -- I was level 76 at the time /eyeroll) and how it made me look like retard. Then she went on about how she's been kicked out of heroics for doing too much dps because it wasn't fair to the others in the group.. (yeah, right).

I'm just chalking it up to someone being a little jealous...

I typically get more comments/praise about Apollyon than any other pet I've ever owned. Someone last night in H HoS made me laugh when she looked at the big brute and said, "I remember that dino killing me a couple times in Sholazar...". Yeah, he killed me a couple times too, lol.

I've only ever had compliments about him, not once has anyone ever said anything negative about him - his size, the fact that I'm BM, nothing. And if they did, I'd ignore them anyway. He's my favorite companion and I worked far too hard to get him. He stays out, period.

I had that with my Skoll doggie with thunders got him like 2 weeks after 3.2 came so everyone in ogrimmar was like wow cool pet . Where u got and staff like that

I felt proud of my pet ^_^



doggie irl died last friday due to cancer so when i start wow again will change the name of skoll to Athos (rl doggie) so its spirit will live on ( even in game hehe ^_^ )

Though not actually a reaction to my tamed pet, I had a bit of a run in with a VERY p***y Night Elf when I was searching for Loque on my Alliance alt.

It started with me asking around in general chat if anyone had seen Loque, and if anyone did, if they could tell me, of course, miss "I want Loque and I'm gonna b**** at anyone who wants it too" shows up and starts yelling at me. Oi.

I had been having a bit of a heated discussion with some other people in the Basin about how its not fair how Hunters have to pay for ammo, which the idiot said "But some other classes have to pay for regents for buffs" Yeah, but, thats for raiding, we need ammo for EVERYTHING. >.> (Yes I'm getting off-topic lol)

I end up trying to talk to Miss B, who proceeds to keep yelling at me. At one point she said she was pregnant and was gonna stop playing once her child was born. ... What? She's gonna stop playing soon and yet she acts like she'll die if she doesn't get Loque, who she won't even be using when she quits. WAT. *Facepalm*

I, as a girl, had said that I wish I wasn't as b****y when I got pregnant and started getting those dreaded mood swings, which of course didn't help. At all. And then some moron who seems to know Miss B comes in and starts harassing me with whispers and saying in general chat that he's gonna report ME for harassing Miss B in whisper. Which I'd never did, or would ever do, by the way.

Which just leads me to say this; Great Ho-Oh people are crazy! ARGH! (... Yes, I said "Great Ho-Oh" .. Blame Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, I've been addicted to those games lately XD)

People don't seem to complain about me much. But then again, I live on Terenas US server. EVERYONE there sucks unless they hardcore raid and don't care about the game/lore. >->

Hmm, when i had Bizkit (Arcturis) i got around 10 comments in the 8 days i had him. DeathWarp(gezzerek the huntress) on the otherhand never ever got any comments, other than "Why the hell do you have a warp stalker out?" Skoll has gotten a few nice comments and Synyster(Nuromac) has gotten the comment "WHOA!!! THATS A PET?!?" twice. lol Dakota hasnt gotten any comments other than "good job, you brought a wolf, unlike that last hunter"

Since I got Yoshi; first group I got into someone said, "I like your raptor." ... 0.o regardless I do get some "grats", & "I wanted to name mine Yoshi if I got him".

Get a few "cool bear" comments on Arcturis.

I've never had that kind of reaction. Weird. A few people have asked where to get the spiritbear. When I had my worgen then...then it was like I was a walking target lol I got called all kinds of names and not only by other players, but by blizz employees. I could kind of understand it tho I just ignore ppl like that and have fun.

If I see a hunter with a cool pet on my druid tho I make a point to compliment them on it. One day I saw a guy with a corehound named "Myexwife" That was great.
