Weekly Raid Fail

So we decided to 25 man Weekly raid for my server was the Ignis the Furnace Master. So we kept wiping on Flame. The first time was because there was not enough of the blue stuff down. The 2nd and 3rd time I don't know. The 2nd and 3rd time I kept being thrown off the siege on to the boss. Id go to grab a blue thing and then get thrown off. I don't know if this was a bug or what. By the 2nd time this was like the 3rd wipe and I'm already exhausted and sick so I'm not in a very good mood. I had enough and I said in raid chat I give up and left the party. Nobody said anything to me but I know they noticed. I logged out 10-15 minutes after. I'm just fed up with being stuck in a fail group with the guild. I know there is a very good group that has gotten 5/12 bosses down in ICC.
Everytime the Guild Master decides he want's to try and do uldaur achievements we wipe countless times. Stuff like this is what turned me away from Raiding for almost a year. I hate wiping over and over and not getting anywhere. I don't mind a few wipes here and there if we have gotten say 5 bosses down. Now with the raids for the team I was supposed to be on being only on sunday the day I work during the actual raid time , it leaves me more frustrated and not being able to raid. I don't know why I even bother doing the daily's now. I getter better gear for what ? I don't raid anymore.
I could pug but I can't stand pugging. My server is full of idiots. One wipe and the entire raid falls apart and your saved and without emblems. I like the social interaction with majority of the guild members but I just want to pull my hair @ the same time.. I don't know what to do anymore..
End rant.........

Yes wiping sucks, but what sucks more?
People that don't even try, for the achievements. You know the
easy as pie Dungeon ones for a red proto?
Caim is the only one of our little 4 man guild to get it, from a pug. Why?
It's to hard or
It takes to long or
Oh god no cba. I speak of one of the former hard ones- the Rift boss in Nexus
Tbh crap like that shooting down any chance for me of getting any drake unless I can somehow get 'good gear' and rally up a healer and a dps on a lazy server that is either to elitist or to undergeared or has that CBA-titude...
I'm sorry but imo you're looking a gift horse in a mouth, you have a guild that wants to keep trying for achievements. I'm stuck on a server and pugs that claim it's to hard in their i264+ gear to do jack squat.

Yah we shouldn't we wiping on Uldaur 25 man. Flame Leviathan is the easiest boss in there and I'm pretty sure we have one shotted him before. I think I'm gonna just quit raiding for now and only come on during off peak hours. The server lag is really starting to bug me. One minute my frames are spiking widely from 40's to 3-4 fps. Other times it takes forever for stuff to phase in. I dunno if it's my add on or what it is. It seems every patch that comes out it gets worse and worse. Could also be the server is growing very quickly and becoming overpopulated.

This happens to me too a lot. We got Flame down (it always seems to benulduar weeklies 0.o) and get to Razorscale. We start the figth, and wipe about halfway trough, because a healer disconnected. And instead of waiting a few minutes or hearthing back to dalaran to replace him almost everybody leaves the raid instead.
I managed to get more folks for it, and oneshotted it, but still...
And people skipping bosses is not fun. I only need Jedoga hardmode and a few more. Impossible. Know why? I've never gotten into a group that even considers doing these bosses. And when I do get a tank that needs the extra emblems, he's undergeared / cba. Gonna' try and get some of the b-squad together for some hardmodes. That might work better.

Well if it was possible I'd tank for you >_> Caim has 36k with the right buffs, 32k self buffed and he has like 20% parry, 14% dodge or vice versa forget which and has 11% block and most of the times it's just facerolling.
I find groups seem to be a tad more willing if the tank is the one wanting the achieves.

Will you marry me? Good tanks are so scarce. Especially for randoms. Good tanks are already geared, so they don't do them. And then there's always the retadins doing us a "favour" by queing as tanks to get groups quicker.
Main tank for the guild couldn't come to ICC10. We had to pug a guy. Who was incredibly undergeared. 29k health is far too little for ICC. He couldn't hold aggro either. Every DPS without a threat-remover (feint, vanish, FD) ended up dead quickly. Wiping on Marrowgar=Not fun. Hell, our incredibly geared Fury warrior had more health than that guy.

well I'm not really a good good tank. And I was also one of those that thought oh hell if I have a shield I should be able to tank too right? IE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6PEGfDXHJI we were getting Aria's mum and my pally the achieve n head before the revamp on Ony.
SEE THE SPAZZ DIN. THAT'S MEEEE.
Sure I've advanced, but trust me, only ask me to tank a raid if I'm your last option. I can usually tank a heroic no problem... but for a raid I'd need to focus on learning each tacts well, well beforehand.
dungeons just kinda fade together so sometimes I forget if it's a step to the right or a step to the left or if you put your hands on your hips.. *shot*

Bleh, I can understand the frustration. I've had many groups like that before, way back when I used to raid normally (when Naxx was THE raid... (oh and OS)). Not even trying for achievements, but just killing bosses in there... wiping 10, 15 times... some people would just leave... bleh. I often was so tempted to myself.

So I logged on to a Alt and I talked to a friend in my guild and they have tried 25 man ICC and they managed to get the first 4 bosses down.. I don't get it.. They failed @ ulduar 25 man Herioc (found out later it was heroic) and the team I'm one still struggles with the deathbringer. They have atleast 5 people pugged in the group as well.Make any sense to you guys ?

Eh, some guilds run with two different groups, and then you have sign up's, and what have you. They just may have had their 'A' team going.
Now, Palladia has a fun story for you all. I used to raid back in Vanilla. Yes, yes, I know, how weird. Anyway, I was obviously never allowed to bring my hunter, I always had to bring my holy paladin, but that is neither here nor there. I ended up in a conglomeration of guilds who barely had enough people to run ZG. And herein lay the problem: We did not have enough GOOD people to run ZG. In fact, there were MAYBE four good people at any point in time during any of our runs, and that was including me and my parter at the time. Don't get me wrong, I am not anything special, but I do know how to play my class, while most of these people couldn't even pass as mediocre. /sigh.
Well, if that'd been the worst of it, I'd have perservered. I can deal with bad players, if your willing to try. So every week, we'd all slog through as many bosses as we could. Sometimes this meant we could make it up to the raptor boss, and some weeks this meant we wiped repeatedly on the first or second boss. For months. On end. During this time, both me and my partner never once got an upgrade. Nevermind that my holy paladin was the SOLE reason that most of our DPS survived long enough to kill anything. Never mind that my partner often single handedly saved the other healers because our tank was so bad. We both saw several amazing upgrades drop for us, that were then summarily either flat out ninjaed, 'accidentally' rolled on, or were flat out given to some one else that the raid leader liked. To add insult to injury, no one ever mentioned our performence. In fact, credit for what we did was pretty much always given to some one else. I can't tell you how many DPS I saved during that time period, only to hear them say "Amazing healing, priest!" or how many times my partner would, as a rogue, tank adds that hit healers, only to have the healers thank the tank.
I haven't set foot in a raid since.
