As the title says,

I finally caught Ghostcrawler. I was camping the area but AFKing watching some tv and the NPCscan & SiverDragon sounds didn't sound loud enough (I somehow muted the computer) I turned to see what the noise was, my cat was playing with a paper on my desk and I saw the notifications. I was freaking out. All you hear in my house is, OMG OMG OMG! I couldn't locate him and I was frantic. Thought maybe someone had tamed him. did a /who of the area and saw 1 other hunter was around. Got super nervous.

My hand was clicking those Scan Notifications like it was ... well... I don't know how to explain it. But I clicked as fast as I could while I swam around. Then... to my amazement, I saw him... I squealed... got all jittery.. Turned around to make sure there was no one around. Did the Golem "My precious" voice and hit the tame button. Now... Ghostcrawler is mine!. And I kept his original name... cause, there really isn't anything better to name him!

Heee, grats! The phasing thing is enough to freak anyone out, really. x_x

Grats on Ghostcrawler! The way he phases though... When I was about to tame and disappeared, I thought he was gone... It really scared me!

Scared to post here but I will risk it....

He don't really phase. He just burrows under the ground at random points in time, even while being tamed. It sucks and makes him hard to find, but its a cool challenge and true to a crab's nature (they do burrow underground).

My Stable is almost full so I can't collect that many. HOWEVER... I do have Sambas, Karoma, All there Northrend Rares (King Krush, Spirit Beasts & Aotona) I have Karkin, some Old Content Rares (Olm the Wise)

That's actually a really cool idea, Sarantha! That would actually make tracking him quite a bit easier, since there would be a warning before he was about to disappear. But sadly, no, he does just fade in and out; there's no burrowing animation.

Really? I have seen him burrow! I got him when Cata first came out tho, so perhaps some animations were changed? Or maybe it was just my screen? I was using an older computer at the time, and it really looked like he was burrowing.

As for being afraid to post, I don't wanna offend anyone/get banned.

Ahh, pally bait. Maybe the shiniez will attract him. All the holy light and glowing armor should be plenty to attract a Ghostcrawler, if anything, to hit it with the nerfbat!

heh, I am tempted to have the pally in our guild help me camp XD But sadly, he's not on =/
Next idea for bait, frost mages. Maybe that will help xD

Sadly, a fire mage would be better. They got beat hardest with the nerfbat and might attract his attention better.

I think it was just on your end. Sounds really cool, though! Perhaps we'll get a worm rare in the future who burrows. That would be fun!

Those untamable (sadly) worms in the caverns by Jadefang burrow. I just wish we could tame them! They are worms, after all.

I could totally see it. The ultimate challenge tame. Tame the giant worm that in the tunnel before he eats you. Fun fun! And no one could gank it.

That would be a fun tame! "Tame the worm or be devoured by it!" Would definitely be dizzy by the end, though. x_x

Or, like the worm boss in Stonecore, it could fire giant crystals that kill you like Kirix, Karkin, and Skarr! (if you dodged that, it'd then eat you)
Edit: I actually tamed Ghostcrawler at 9:34 PM Mannoroth Server time. Scared the heck out of me to see him walking around CX
