So I downloaded the Pet Emote addon and have some issues with it. First of all... SKOLL IS NOT A CAT! He does not meow or purr! He does not groom himself! He snarls, he growls, he nips playfully, he licks himself in inappropriate places. Hell, he might even nuzzle, but meow and purr? I think not. My guild has taken to asking me if Skoll will ever come out of the closet and makes comments about him being light in the loafers. lol My answer is, "So what if he is? He'd still eat your pet for a snack." Which, btw I've proven several times in a pet vs pet dual with other hunters. <beams with pride>

Skoll is a spirit beast, and, if I guess correctly, the guy who wrote the PetEmote addon went ahead and grouped their emotes with the cat ones, since at the time (I'm assuming) all spirit beasts were cats. There's a way to change it, probably, but it involves opening said addon, and delving into the programming slightly. I'd be no help at all for that.

Veph complains about that too though, but I still love the idea of this 500 lbs. blue wolf to be sitting there... then start meowing.

I want Arcturis now just to see a huge bear on Prowl and meowing! That would be funny.

So, I went looking for an addon that makes pet emotes on Curse and can't find one. What is it called? Is there more than one? Is it from Curse?

Didn't BRK have a long post on how to edit petemotes on his old blog? *goes digging*

It should be possible to edit the spirit beast section by following his guide.

Pet Emote is not on curse, you have to get it from the official website:

Is anyone able to get this to work/show? It's not working for me mean the addon

I know there is a couple of people in our guild that the addon still works for, but it has stopped working for me as well. Not sure if I have an older version or not. I miss it too.

Mine still works. I know because as we speak, Skoll is meowing and licking his hind leg.

This would be my first guess too. On the other hand, I have checked that and still have a few addons that don't work since the patch. (I haven't had the time to actually sit down and update them all... >.>)

Yes, my load outdated addon is turned on for Pet emote. It does not work for me. I have not though attempted to reinstall the folder into the interface/addon yet. Will try that tonight.

I never even noticed there was a load out of date addon option.

Speaking of which reminds me, don't use reload while on netherwing ledge. For some reason, for me anyways, it sends Yas at war with them, without being at war with them, and I can't do -anything- until a relog :|

I double checked it tonight, and found that I did not have the Load outdated clicked on. When I did turn it back on, it started working again. DUH
