So, there were these 3 or 4 Nelf Hunters there, one already had Skarr, and they were all in the same group (I know this cuz one used a Corehound to pop BL). So one of the male Nelfs started to tame, Im waiting off to the side, and all of a sudden Skarr nukes all but one of them . Well Im thinking to myself, well I guess its my turn now. So the one still alive is just sitting there while Im changing specs, I figure he was just there to watch. Anyways, I change specs and with one go I get him so happy, I spent 2 days without sleep camping him a week ago, lost him twice to other hunters who killed him mid tame, I had all but given up on ever getting him. After I finished taming him I left to go do some more dailies when one of the Nelfs whispered me. Apparently he was the one taming and his friend decided to Silence Shot Skarr mid tame, canceling it and giving him the chance to nuke the Nelfs. So now I feel bad about it, but not too bad because he also informed me that he only spent 2-3 hours camping him.

Hey it was your turn. They messed up. There will always be another shot at him. Maybe you can hang around and help em.

It's always so hard to tell because hunters flock to these tames... When I tried Karkin, there were 7 hunters there. In the end, another person got him because my friend silenced Karkin right at the end of his tame--she thought I was taming at the time. Complete confusion.

Congrats on the tame!! Don't feel bad, just enjoy your beautiful kitty.

I feel like, as long as you aren't attacking the beast to try to interrupt the tame, it's all fair game. Once you mess up your tame, you gotta get back in line!

Yeah, as long as you don't interfere with their tames. It's like playing old Mario with your sibling. Once you lose a man, pass the controller. Once they lose their Mario, they pass it back. It's just taking turns. I think I got very lucky in that I tamed Karkin on my first try.
